Season 19 Mission Briefing 11.29.2010

 

The crew of the USS Republic have been working hand-in-hand with both crews from DS9 as well as specialists from the USS Excalibur, working on salvage of major systems components and repairs to the structural integrity fields and supports. Star Fleet Command has ordered that the USS Excalibur provide an escort tow back to the Utopia Planatia Shipyards on Mars, where the Republic will be inspected and a decision to repair or decommission it will be made. Most of the Excalibur crew is on Shoreleave, while Republic crew are welcome to use the facilities on DS9 and Excalibur during their off shift schedules. Command of the USS Republic was transferred to Captain Rian Kwai by order of Star Fleet Medical three days ago, and Admiral BluRox ordered to return to Headquarters for a full check up.
