ones listed in the poll. Which one will you choose to play?

I selected a Betazoid....because The Borg, Cardassians and Gorn would require too much prosthetics.  Vulcan was a tempting choice...but being constantly...logical would be tough to act.   I wear contacts...so I went with the Betazoid..plus dealing with telepathic ideas ...best package for me.

Of the choices, I'd love to do Gorn. Part of the reason is the fact we haven't seen that race for over 30 years. They are so rare, any role played showing one would almost certainlly be looked closely at by fans. :D

True but if they were to stay true to the species, you'd have to wear a fake-looking halloween-type mask where your mouth never moves and you walk around like you're in a big rubber suit.   :D

you gotta be kidding me if you don't want to wear that costume and nice new avatar :D but I choose cardassian because they look so cool don't you guys agree and their awesome decks and their uniforms especially the funny boots :)

Perhaps, not totally true.

 

Look at Enterprise...they updated the Andorians, to have moving antennae, which takes away from part of their stated background.  The old Andorians, used to annoy people by the why they cocked their heads so that they could hear, part of their "haughty nature" that was perceived. Now, with the moving antennae, it takes that part of the story away.

 

It was also noted long ago, that their color vision, was also based in the antennae. I would think the movement, might impair this to some extent.....

Do you think the Gorn would look different now than they did in TOS... How do you think they wold looks?

Maybe not, look at owls which ahve eyes on opposites side of their head.  Not only are the eyes pretty much placed oppositely, but each eye can move seperatly from the other; :D  the same goes for some lizards.  Owls are some of the best predators.

Owls don't have colour vision though its a weird type I can't remember it something like ultraviolet
