Earth, New San Francisco – Emperor Hoshi Sato the Second was pleased to report in a transmission to the INN Network that Reed Mitros, leader of the Terran Resistance Group, was killed earlier today during a raid by Imperial authorities at the New Mars colony. Two of Reed’s chief lieutenants were also taken out, ensuring that at least a portion of the resistance cell network in the Alpha Quadrant will be completely compromised, if not eradicated.

 

It is only a matter of time before the remaining cells and resistance fighters are removed from the quadrants as well, the emperor promises her loyal followers.

 

In other developments, negotiations with the High Council of the Halkan home world have been terminated. The world leaders have refused Imperial Fleet Command access to the dilithium reserves of the planet. Defiance cannot be tolerated, and the First and Secondary Halkan cities are now slated for orbital bombardment.

 

Confirmed secondary targets will include the Halkan satellite colonies of Xanar and Micong.

 

The ISS Enterprise, under the command of Captain James Tiberius Kirk, will receive the honor of the home world strafing termination run against the First and Secondary cities.
