USS Republic Summary

The Admiral and her team left the Republic on their attempt to rescue Fiona and Gunner.

 

Meanwhile the Hirogen and Jem Hadar that came aboard wished to go back and help their friends escape. It was mistaken as attempt to steal Federation shuttle craft and the shuttle bay was shut down preventing the last of them from leaving. Since they could not leave, they were not going to allow their friends to fight alone. They then began a take over of the USS Republic and were going to use it to fight.

 

The Oest decided to take out the rest of the race that had caused them trouble before they could get back home to inform anyone of their doings. They started out for the USS Republic. Once they found the ship, the Republic started trying to defend itself. In doing so the Ship took major damage on its engineering section to the warp core. Holly beamed everyone to the Saucer section as the suggestion of dumping the core was made. Holly suggested separation and she would handle the core trouble since the ejection mechanisum malfunctioned. The Saucer section is heading towards the Worm Hole that has opened up. It was ordered that we slow to 1/2 Impulse as we neared the worm hole, in hopes that the rest of the team make it back in time to go through also.

 

The Admiral and her team managed to find Fiona and Gunner and started back When they got to where the worm hole was beginning to open, Blu found only the drive section and wondered what happened.

 

Will they all make it through the wormhole? We shall see.
