Creation ST Convention in Vegas

I will be in Vegas (barring some weird unexplainable situation) from August 1st through 3rd for the Creation Star Trek Convention.

 

I know Shore Leave West just finished, but I am wondering if any STSF members are going to be there. I would like to meet you if you will. Send me an email or PM. Thanx.

Best of luck at the convention! Not sure if anyone's going...though I know there is some consideration being given to having Shore Leave 26 West during the convention in 2004.

Actually, of all the places in the United States, Las Vegas is probably the place to hold a convention. Costs of getting to the city and staying there are quite low when compared to many other places.

Nope but iam going to the next grand slam which I believe is in pasadena. I went to last year's in minniapolis and it really rocked!

I'd say of all the places in the United States...Las Vegas is the BEST place to go period. Bring it on, trekkies!   :P

And the best thing about having the convention in Las Vegas is ... the Hilton!! Star trek the expeience, Quarks, ST shopping, ST slot machines, room keys with the Enterprise on them, and the list goes on....

First of all, there are no more stockyards! They took 'em out in 2000. Second, there are casinos across the river in Council Bluffs. And third, there is a new convention center right near the airport. There is more that I could list but it would take too much space. I AM NOT A CRACKPOT!
