On August 18, 1995, Sky Harbor Aegis came into its first incarnation as Starbase Aegis with HoD TSara zantai T'Zay as its first Commanding Officer and Commander Jennan Ayer of Trill as Executive Officer. Starbase Aegis was deployed in geosynchronous orbit of Canar II and entered operational service on August 18, 2371 (Stardate 9508.18). Presently in its third incarnation, Sky Harbor Aegis is commanded by Ambassador Drankum of Ferenginar and Commander Chirakis Kirel of Starfleet and is located in neutral territory just outside Breen space.

Although I hear the station may be in for it's fourth reincarnation. ;) Still, fifteen years is a long time in the wonderful world of simming. Well done to all of those who have kept the fires burning on Aegis...and I mean that literally. :)

In all things there are ebbs and flows. Tides come in and tides go out. It seems quite obvous to me that this Station is living and breathing today, even after fifteen long years. The future that I see is long and prosperous. Congrats Aegis! Keep the faith!
