Trichon

More Questions

Trichon studied the contents of the Padd again for the third time in as many minutes.  The data that the old man at the water reclamation center gave him just did not add up.  The whole thing was confusing.  For starters upon arriving at the Reclamation Center he had almost immediately found a circuit board that had been tampered with as well as the backups.  Now Lt. Jaruq had every reason to be upset with the old man but it wasn't the way to go about it.  If Trichon had learned one thing from his father it was that you always caught more fly's with honey than vinegar.  A few kind words here and there's and then Trichon had the info he needed.  The Water Reclamation Center had been broken into about 2 weeks prior and was vandalized by a gang of some sort.  They had tagged the place and left.  They had been caught not long after.  The one thing that really bothered Trichon was that how could someone miss something like a faulty circuit board for 2 weeks.

Trichon sat the Padd down.  It seemed that the old man, Tepi, had to be involved in one way or the other.  He had said something that just didn't seem right to Trichon.  Tepi mentioned that he had been drinking the water for the last 2 weeks and he was not sick at all.  It had already been established that the virus was transmitted through the water supply and Lt. Seiben had found signs that the tanks themselves had been tampered with as well.  It was definitely all adding up to either Tepi was responsible for what had happened or at least played some part of it.  One way or the other Trichon had to make sure that all the info he had been given made it to someone in charge of security.  Lt. Col. Quest had been the logical choice but what with the bar fight and jail it didn't seem likely that she would be in any position to look into anything for a while.  This whole mission was getting more interesting by the second.
