Hey, if it was up to me I would ALWAYS have them up, only lowering them as necessary.

 

I mean it don't cost nothing, right?

The reason the three amigos exist is because of our uniquie personalities.  

 

Dumbass a.k.a Vanroy is the insane one of the group, he makes rude gestures, defys the meaning of trek, kills crew members, atempts to eat crew members, is an all around smart ass, and manages to do it all in one sim time.

 

If Vanroy is insane, then Travis would have to be sanein.  He does the exact oposite of Vanroy to stand out, no matter what the cost.  He'd lower shields to the borg, kiss a klingon, stop being so damn controversial, and go insane and kill his crew, just to be remembered in history.

 

And if theres one person that can keep them tethered on a leash...it's Garnoopy.  The master of sensible plans, trusted academy graduate of the GM's, this guy stops idiotic plans before their even thought up.  

 

Wow, my own little summary to the three amigos.  All just made up so I'd have a reason not to vote.  Because Vanroy would always leave them up, I'd never raise them...If the going gets tough we can just ram them!! And ram then ontill they serender in groaning pain!!  :)   ::D:    :)  :)

Is raising sheilds after part of the ship is gone and the capt is dead really a sane choice...I mean shouldn't the shields have already have been raised if this happends.   :D

Thats the thing the entire misson I suggested raiseing shileds but everytime we didn't something worse would happen, as u could see here. (No offence to Ndak of course)  :D

In my defense i wanted to raise sheilds when the freighter entered close orbit to us...but Fred said no...moral of the story...never trust a GM thats i kahoots with the Panda's

Do you honestly think when a freighter drops out of warp the captains going to jump up and yell, "Oh no!  A freighter!  It must be those blasted pandarians!  Inform starfleet command!  Overload the warp core and ram them!  We'll sacfice our selfs!"

 

Seriously people, lets try to be a bit realistic.

Keep the shields down. The more people with higher ranks than you die, the faster you'll move up the ranks.

Hey there,

 

Well, with the mission in question, the Pandarians actually had nothing to do with it. They just kind of took advantage of the situation, beamed off some people right before the already heavily damaged ship exploded, and left. :D
