Classroom Session Topic: Division of Bridge Labor, or Who Does What When

Mission BACKGROUND: The Galaxy-class starship VICTORY has been dispatched for an emergency evacuation of the Bostel IV colony, due to a radical change in planetary conditions. There are over 3000 colonists, facing catastrophic conditions, who must be brought aboard the ship to safety.

MISSION BRIEFING: All the players (except the CO and OPS) are members of a first response away team, having ALREADY beamed down to the chaotic conditions in the colony capital. Treat injuries, secure colonists, and get them up to the ship.

STSF Sorehl -> Who has primary responsibility for raising shields?

STSF Sorehl -> Yes. If there's someone at TAC, they should do it. What if there isn't, or the TAC officer somehow misses the beat?

tylevans -> I suppose OPS would do that? Or the SEcurity officer on the bridge?

STSF Sorehl -> Both are good answers.

STSF Atragon -> (Aww, I was gonna say Counselor)

I continue to lurk around STSF just to benefit from A9's pearls of wisdom :P Oh how I miss them.

I think the classroom portion of the Tuesday Academy is an excellent idea Jami, Sorehl! It seems to be working very well (despite A9's best efforts). Certainly would have helped me when I started simming way back when.

:) Jami!
