Well guys, I have actually only read one STAR TREK Novel in my life; "Life on the Abode". It was a balantine book but I do not remember the author's name. Hey, I've slept several times since then... at least 7305 times! LOL

I have way too many Trek authors that I have enjoyed to properly choose just *one* from the poll. Went with Other.

Diane Duane is a Goddess and I bow to her: Romulan. Books. Are. Scripture.

A.C Crispin gave us two kick azz novels with the Zar adventures: "Yesterdays Son" and "Time For Yesterday" and we can't forget her awesome novel "Sarek".

L.A. Graf expertly concentrates on the Other Big Three: Chekov, Uhuru, Sulu in most of her novels.

Diane Carey worked real life sailing into her Trek books: always a treat.

Micheal Jan Friedman wrote "Shadows on the Sun": the ultimate Doctor McCoy novel.

J.M. Dillard remains my number one favorite: "Bloodthirst" was my first Trek novel.

David Mack takes modern military/tactical and political intrigue and combines it with Star Trek, which is a perfect blend: "A Time to Heal" comes to mind as well as his "Harbinger" novels.

Keith R.A. Decandido is the master of the Klingons with his IKS Gorkon and Klingon Empire novels

And, I could go on. Way to many good Trek authors over the years.

My favorite books:

My Enemy, My Ally : The Romulan Way : Spock's World : Dreadnought : Battlestations : The Pandora Principle

How Much For Just The Planet? is also good.

And, of course, I've misplaced them all. :P

I've always loved Peter David. Q-Squared is one of my favorite Trek books, that and Imzadi. (Not Imzadi 2)
