USS Republic Summary

Since the first Away team mission went well, Captain Kwai decided that she would allow one more attempt to getting DNA samples from the City area. The away team took their time getting everything ready and being 100% prepared for the mission.

 

Once the team made it way down, the bridge watched the signals coming from the surface like a hawk, watching for any sign of trouble. Kania and Ayumu kept in close contact as to what was being seen on sensors.

 

Just when the team was ready to transport back to the Republic, something was heard from a nearby stairway. As The newly promoted Ensign stood to begin walking back to the beam out point she was tackled by something coming from that stairway. The team was fast enough to get it stunned before it caused any harmful damage to Ens Jamieson. When the team was transported to the ship the creature was transported with them. The team began taking samples from the creature and was about to send it back to the surface.
