USS Republic Summary

The Away teams continue their investigations of the planet surface. They had split into 2 groups to cover more ground. Kawalas group had apparently found a residence of some type. Joy did pick up a few life signs which they were getting ready to check out when they received the call from Mr Robinson.

 

Mr Robinson's group was moving further into the building they were investigating when Ens Jorge had fallen behind as Wills team turned a corner. The team heard a thud and looked around only to find Ens Jorge laying face down on the floor. Apon turning him over they found that his throat and abdomen had been ripped out and he was missing his liver.

 

The team heard noises before Kawalas showed up. He was going to investigate until the numbers were heard 50 Life signs to their 3 or even 6 was not good odds. All agreed this would be a good time to transport out. Mr Robinson decided that there should be gernades tossed to keep the life signs at bay. This caused some of the unstable building to begin falling down around them. The order was to get out quicky from Kawalas. All managed to escape injury with the exception of Ens Bardolf. He had a large rock fall on him breaking 3 of his toes.

 

After the team returned to the ship and completed decontamination, thesenior staff was called to the conference room for debriefing. Mr Bardolf was taken to Sickbay to begin repairs on his foot.
