A Quiet Evening

It was a quiet evening on Magna Roma. Compared to a couple hours ago, Kimiko could do quiet. She was standing on the balcony of a lavish estate, looking out upon the city. A cool breeze blew by, letting the Major's hair and newly adorned white robe wave.

By all rights she should be dead now. Kimi had fought in the games roughly two hours ago. And though she put up one hell of a fight, making the other two almost look like fool. But she was caught off guard and had a sword at her neck. As the final blow was about to be dealt, the games were stopped. Before getting any answers, Kimiko was whisked away. She was instantly pampered; given a warm bath and a full body massage. Then she ended up here. But she still didn't know where here was.

A servant softly approached the Major as she stood on the balcony. "Wine for you, Mistress," A decorative glass was given too her.

"Thank you," replied Kimi, taking a sip. Not usually her preference, but she could get used to it.

"When you are prepared to retire, you bed has been properly made. I was told when the suns rises, you will be escorted to Master Marcus Quintus."

"Of course. I look forward to meeting him. Thank you." Marcus Quintus? Why did that name seem familiar? The Major pondered for a moment. Yes, he was the one who had originally contacted Challenger. Perhaps with his help, she could get back to the ship.

The servant gave a little bow and left the balcony. Sipping from her glass, Kimiko remained for a moment longer to gaze upon the city. It was a nice place, but she wouldn't want to live here; or die here for that matter.
