Past History:

Born to a wealthy and elite family, Destorie, his two younger sisters, and younger brother lived the life of luxury in the Imperial Deihu (Senate) Compound on ch’Rihan. Destorie was born on Vulcan while his mother was assigned to Vulcan.

Upon reaching the age of ascension, Destorie was torn between the wishes of his parents. His mother, t’Sevik, wanted him to enroll in the Vulcan Science Academy and become a great scientist; his father however wanted him to enter into government service arranging for him to have a position in the Tal’Shiar. Destorie, decided, as usual to follow his own path and chose the Galae Retor. While his parents disagreed with his choice they supported him. Once Destorie arrived at the Retor, he found life much tougher, the expectations for the eldest N’Dak were impossibly high, and pressure to succeed often troubled him, but did not stop him from graduating tenth in his class.

Destorie spent an extended amount of time on Qo'Nos, the Klingon homeworld, during the Dominion War, while his mother was serving as the Ambassador, where he operated as a military liaison between the Romulan and Klingon government. His employment with the Embassy ended when several Tal’Shiar operatives were discovered in the Klingon Embassy; Destorie and a number of other Rihan citizens were ejected from the embassy. He was suspected of being a covert Tal’Shiar operative, but was cleared of all charges.

When it came time for his post aboard a warbird, D’Lvon used his considerable pull to have him posted to the RES Talon; his mother had heard that the ship was only patrolling the border and thought that would be safe so she begged her husband to have him posted to it.

Family History & Background:

House of N’Dak, Clan of Silaeir

While now it seems that he and his family are among ch’Rihan’s more elite houses, this was not always true. Certainly of honorable lineage, the House of N’Dak had mostly been centered and known only to those of the region of Hein’Rhe. It was only some 300 years ago that rise of the House of N’Dak to Imperial prominence began.

It was then that Rheank N’Dak, the local constable of Hein'Rhe, spent much of his savings to send his eldest son to the Galae Retor in the capital city. After gaining admittance to the Retor, Rheank’s son, Destorie exceeded all expectations for him and graduated third in his class with a specialization in military history and tactics.

Destorie rose to the rank of Daise’EnRiov while serving as decorated commander in the Imperial Galae. A much feared and respected man, he served as one of the lead Galae Commanders from 2136 to 2155.

During this period, the House of N’Dak rose to unparalleled power in the Empire, controlling virtually all three major bodies of the Empire with Destorie heading the Galae, his sister running the Tal’Shiar with an iron fist, and his younger brother becoming a powerful senator whose voice carried much weight in that body.

Following the disastrous Rihan-Earth War, which Destorie had almost single handedly escalated, he returned to ch’Rihan in disgrace, committing suicide only hours before the peace treaty that brought an end to the end of the war and established the Neutral Zone was finalized.

The Rihan-Earth War significantly reduced the power of the House of N’Dak with only two of the six children of Rheank surviving: a disgraced Destorie and an equally disgraced Deihu Relliv. Additionally, the name N’Dak became almost universally equivalent to ambition in the lexicon of many Rihans, a stigma that persists to this day.

Relliv, died without producing an heir and the fate of the House of N’Dak laid in Ma’lyn, Son of Destorie. Thankfully, Ma’lyn had been groomed from a young age to take his fathers’ place; following his fathers’ fall from power Ma’Lyn slowly bid his time rebuilding the once proud family name.

Like his father, he worked his way up the ranks of the Galae, rising to the rank of Khre’Riov, in 2225. For another 31 years he would Command the 5th Fleet stationed along the Rihan-Breen border. In 2256, on the hundredth anniversary of the start of Rihan-Earth War, he was promoted to the rank of EnRiov and position of Galae Commander. He would remain in this post until his retirement.

Ma’lyn’s far less radical approach to politics and generally more tempered manner restored much of the respect his father had first earned and then lost for the House of N’Dak; but even then, most scholars acknowledge that the glory days of the House have long since passed.

Ma’Lyn died in 2306 of complications of age, leaving behind three sons and a daughter. The eldest son, Lvon (Since renamed D’Lvon) would continue to uphold the honor and respect that his father had regained for the House of N’Dak. However, it is apparent that the House itself has never truly recovered from the shame of the first Destorie, following the Rihan wars.

However, as leader of the House of N’Dak, D’Lvon earned a reputation for being far more ambitious than his father, though less so than his grand-father. This reputation, combined with a strong, often abrasive method once again caused the House of N’Dak to have a polarizing effect.

In the early 2380's, the N'Dak suffered a slight affront to their honor when D'Lvon was censured before the Tri-Cameron for his role in attempting to influence punishment being brought upon on his two sons, Issaha and Destorie. However, the family soon quickly regained their footing.

At the peak of its’ power just before the Rihan-Earth War in the 2140’s and 50’s, the House of N’Dak was among the most powerful in the Empire. Since then it has waned, though the power and financial resources of the House of N’Dak should not be underestimated.

D’Lvon s’Heer N’Dak, Deihu

A Deihu for many years, D’Lvon, has been involved in politics most of his life. He is tenured member with a good deal of seniority, once considered to be a fairly respectable and popular Deihu, his reputation has declined of late.

At the age of 22, He was recruited to the Tal’Shiar and trained at their Retor. After completion of his training he was assigned to shadow Deihu tr’Nedor, who was believed to be in league with an insurgency group known as “The Free Order.”

The Free Order was a group of progressive Rihannsu that supported the overthrow of the Praetorate and favored Reunification with the Vulcans, tr’Nedor was thought to be a sympathizer and financier. After several months of monitoring the Deihu, D’Lvon uncovered that not only was tr’Nedor sympathetic to the terrorist group—he was among its leadership. Shortly after, tr’Nedor died in a tragic accident.

D’Lvon remained as an active Tal’Shiar Operative for another 8 years earning the rank of Daise'Sael'Riov (Lt. Colonel).

Sometime afterwards, he was appointed to the Senate. During this period of his life meet and subsequently bonded with the future Llairhi (Ambassador) Sevik t’N’Kedre. After being elected to the Deihu (Senate) he did not maintain his position with in the Tal’Shiar and denies any current connection to the Tal’Shiar, though rumors of his involvement in covert operations persist.

D'Lvon came under considerable scorn when both of his sons were implicated in what has simply become known as the Arcadia Affair. Complicating this was his own guilt in threatening the life of the very Galae Flag Officer his sons had nearly yy’a. However, as a favor, Fvillah tr’Kelna (the future father-in-law of D'Lvon's daughter) commuted the original sentence of 10 lashings to a less painful but equally severe censure before the entire seiHehllirh (Tri-Cameron).

His position in the Senate soon began to recover, and shortly after was reappointed to the powerful Galae Command Committee.

Ori’na t’Sevik N’Kedre, Llairhi (Ambassador)

A long time member of the Kiith Mrevhoqq'ghi (Rihan Diplomatic Corps), Sevik is the daughter of the late Khre’Riov D’Nar tr’N’Kedre and Enarrain Savu t'N’Kedre.

Her bonding with Deihu D’Lvon N’Dak tied together the powerful N’Kedre and N’Dak families.

Sevik served as a Llairhi (Ambassador) of the Rihan Empire to several high profile governments, including a 5 year stint as ne'Llairhi (Junior Ambassador) to Vulcan, 5 to the Gorn as el'Llairhi (Senior Ambassador), and 10 as the hru'Llairhi (Chief Ambassador) to the Klingon Empire. She served for several years as the hru’Llairhi to the Tholian Assembly following the end of the Dominion War.

The Daughter of two career military parents, it was assumed that she would enter the Galae, a notion she strongly protested, but chose the Diplomatic corps, against the protest of her father; a fact she was reminded of when three of her children chose the Galae or Tal’Shiar.

An outspoken proponent of peace over xenophobic wars, Sevik was a leading supporter for the Alliance during the Dominion War, a matter her and her husband found themselves on opposite sides of. She has often been labeled ‘dangerous’ by many of the more conservative Deihus, however her husband’s political might had kept those who would wish to exterminate her voice at bay.

Her enemies seized the opportunity presented with the disgrace of her husband and sons to force her resignation from the Kiith Mrevhoqq'ghi (Diplomatic corps). However, at the request Fvillah tr’Kelna, she has been brought back into the service of the Kiith Mrevhoqq'ghi (Diplomatic Corps) as hru’Llairhi (Chief Ambassador) to Starbase Camelot, the Joint Alpha-Gamma Quadrant venture in the Avalon System, under the Command of Admiral Day.

This move has prompted protests by her enemies, but few would dare challenge Fvillah tr’Kelna. At some point during the ensuing months at Camelot Station she thwarted a plot by the Tal'Shiar to force a war with the Federation and bring the Dominion into an all out Civil War. While her actions were not publicly rebuked, the Ambassador did find herself on a tenuous position.

Shortly after the final negotiations of a Peace Treaty between the Dominion, Allies and the Scorpiad Empire, N'Kedre was recalled to ch'Rihan where she was being elevated to the position of el'Auethnen (Senior Advisor) to Senate on Diplomatic matters.

Rasa N’Dak

The second born of the N’Dak children, and twin of Savu, Rasa chose not to follow her older brother’s footsteps in the military and instead took a position as an aide to a Fvillah.

During her time as an aide, she met his son Dahue, to whom she was shortly betrothed too. The bonding will merge the two powerful houses and Dahue is the only son of Fvillah tr'Kelna and stands to inherit the respect House of Saeier.

Savu Ye’sho N’Dak

The twin sister of Rasa, Savu chose a far different path from her sister and even older brother, instead following her father’s footsteps, joining the Tal'Shiar. She is currently on a classified Tal’Shiar Mission. Her rank is unknown. Additionally, she has not spoken to any of her siblings in the past three years. She is known to have an, at-best, adversarial relation with her eldest sibling.

Issaha N’Dak

The youngest of the N’Dak children, Issaha was involved in the same incident as his brother and was sentenced to 15 lashings. These were administered at the Retor, where he was made to return to finish his schooling. Issaha was ordered to return to the RES Talon by Khre'Riov t'Rexan. A full biography for Issaha can be found in his Galae records..

Psychological Profile:

Destorie (known primarily as N’Dak or simply Dak) has from a young age always shown the ability to lead; however, he has always had problems following.

As a cadet, Destorie often found himself in trouble with superiors for taking matters into his own hands. This often rebellious side of the Destorie is probably caused by the extreme amount of pressure put on him by his pedigree; after all, his father was elected to the Senate at the age of 30. The drive to succeed often overpowers Destorie.

Despite having problems as a follower, Destorie abides by the rules. He was noted for never having to be told twice by many of his instructors.

He is a hardworking individual who strives for the betterment of the Empire.

One thing no one will ever accuse him of is being overtly nice or social. He tends to be cold and calculating, keeping all but a very few at arms length. This has tended to make him more enemies than friends, something that may or may not come back to haunt him.

Recent Career History:

N’Dak was assigned to the RES Talon as a Disheren D'heno. He rose to the rank of Daise’Dheno fairly quickly, mostly as the Khre'Riov wanted to teach him a lesson about command.

His career was brought to a stand still during an incident involving a race known only as the Squids and the Lloann'na vessel USS Arcadia. During that mission he was taken prisoner by the Lloann'na. During a prisoner Exchange, he was once again a prisoner, this time of the Squids.

While details remain shaky at best, all that is known is that he came under the proxy of the Squids. He proceeded to aid and led a rebellion aboard the Talon, during which the Khre'Riov was nearly yy'a. Also the Talon herself took heavy damage, as N’Dak and a small group of junior officers took control of the ship.

During his brief stint as Enarrain, he was once again taken prisoner of the Lloann'na. While he was imprisoned yet again, the Talon was retaken by those unaffected by the Squids and they, along with the Arcadia were able to defeat the Squids.

Following his return to the Talon in exchange for Arcadia officers, he was yet again placed in the brig and stripped of rank by a recovering t'Rexan. The penalty of yy'a was commuted by t'Rexan as an act of mercy, and was replaced in favor of a public flogging.

Upon the Flogging, though nearly yy’a he was reinstalled as Daise’Dheno.

Shortly after, the RES Talon engaged in training exercises on a border world. However, the 'training' mission (Survivor: Rihan) was interrupted by the presence of a foul and wretched race of blob creatures which attacked many the Talon crew.

N’Dak himself suffered several wounds from an attack by the blobs and additional scars from a run in with a rather nasty snake, in fact added with the not yet healed wounds of the beating, he was nearly yy'a...again. However, much to the surprise of many of his enemies, he survived.

Upon learning of the presence of the blob creatures (which it is suspected were intended to come into the service of the Tal'Shiar) Galae Command ordered the Talon to apprehend any of them it could and rescue data logs from a cashed ship the Talon crew found rhae the planet amid a hnaev bkhell'gyum (foul smelly waste land).

N’Dak lead a full assault team of Talon crew to recover the data and was successful although it cost many a Rihan lives, and nearly cost the Daise'D'Heno his right arm when he was caught in the cross-fire of an A.F.R.O. unit designed by engineering to combat the blob creatures rhae the surface.

Following the mission, the RES Talon was called of rhae the Outmarches to deal with a new lloann'mhrahel'Galae threat. The lloann'mhrahel'Galae had yet one again illegally entered the Outmarches and were on an unknown stealth mission in the Devron system, home of the infamous Pegasus Incident.

While investigating the lloann'mhrahel'Galae vessels, N’Dak along with engineering R'Tor t'Bat'ok, were both nearly yy'a when the lloann'mhrahel'Galae vessel Reaent fired upon the asteroidial remains of the Pegasus.

They were both eventually rescued and returned to duty. Following the disastrous encounter with the Reaent, N’Dak made a full recovery and returned to his duties. Upon completion of this mission, the RES Talon was sent on a mission to recover a secret weapon that had been stolen by rebels.

During the course of the mission, an attempt was made upon the life of Deihu S’Bien’s life, who was aboard the ship to secure the return of the device. N’Dak personally oversaw the security of his family friend until the end of the mission.

Upon completion of the mission, though the Talon crew failed to recover the device in working order, the crew headed home. During the return trip, the ship passed through an ion storm, At this point, the records of the RES Talon have been sealed under order of the Tal’Shiar.

When the vessel finally did return, the crew was brought before Tribunal. All but t’Rexan were found innocent. The exact details are classified and beyond the scope of this document, t’Rexan was tried and subsequently convicted and punished for a prior offense. Her punishment was carried out by N’Dak’s father and the Tal’Shiar Director.

With t’Rexan nearly yy’a from the punishment, N’Dak was installed as acting Enarrain. Ironically, this was as a result if the final request of t’Rexan before her punishment was carried out, that N’Dak be made the acting XO, and due to her condition, he was placed as acting Enarrain until she could recover.

In an effort to remove the Talon from the public eye of ch'Rihan, Galae sent the vessel under the command of Destorie N’Dak to investigate a series of missing grain shipments. In the course of the mission, several attempts were made upon the Khre'Riov's life; however these attempts were revealed to be part of a plot to assassinate Destorie. This information was revealed to the Khre'Riov and Destorie through their former crewmate Ural tr'Psichore.

Though her recovery was not fully complete, t'Rexan once again returned to the position of Enarrain aboard the Talon; honoring his word, N’Dak relinquished command upon his own will. With the return of tr'Psichore (who'd previously thought to have been in stasis on the homeworld) N’Dak future aboard the RES Talon was unclear.

During the course of their next mission it was discovered that tr’Psichore had been working as double agent for the Tal’Shiar, though his motives, like those of the Tal’Shiar remain unclear. As a result t’Rexan chose N’Dak to be her new Executive Officer.

Get it right bud.....she suggested you for acting XO, it was tr'Vren that had to put you up to Enarrain because tKsa had other duties. And..well, he wanted you as his pawn, not the Tal Shiar's pawn.
