Tactical Situation

Kimi gave a very slow exhale as she entered her quarters after a long shift. Going to the center of her room, she began peeling away her uniform till she was left in her tank top and shorts. She glanced over at the bathroom, knowing full well a nice warm shower was in order, but she had one last order of official business to attend to before she could relax. Going to her small desk in the corner, she sat down and activated her computer console. After a little thought, she began typing.

CC: Captain Seiben, Commander Ba'alyo

Subject: Tactical Situation

 

As you know, the ship and crew were recently placed in a hazardous situation while helping our newly acquainted friends. While encountering the strange subspace beings onboard the derelict ship, the away team found that our weapons were ineffective against the creatures. Therefore, I am tasking both departments to analyze the scans taken from both Challenger and the away team's tricorders to come up with a sound tactical solution, not only for hand weapons but the ship as well. This will allow us to be better prepared in the event we should encounter these beings again. I have confidence that with both departments working together an answer can be found.

Once the message was sent, the tired marine deactivated the console and rose from her seat. That warm shower was next on her list.
