"Rude Shocks"

Fiona rather had the idea that they would not be returning to Portalis anytime soon. A pity, she thought, surprising herself. She'd rather liked the little alpine getaway she'd found for herself. Oh well. If they weren't appeased by the fact that Starfleet officers were going ahead with a local trial, then there wasn't much the doctor was going to be able to do to make them more reasonable.

Heading off the Bridge into the lift, she sighed. Fiona hadn't been aboard when they'd been... removed from Risa, but she'd heard plenty of stories about it. Not that it was any real loss to her -- she had definite ideas of what to do with her shore leave, and Risa was about as far from the top of the list as, say, Argus X was to most people. On the other hand, "uninhabited" sounded like a nice idea at the moment. At least then no one could kill sacred albatrosses or whatever the Aviatrices were and get Fiona deported. With a dry smirk, she exited the lift, making her way into Sickbay and back towards her private lair.

As the door opened, she stopped.

And stared at the... the... disaster that was her office. She felt her throat beginning to tighten and her breath shorten.

There were padds everywhere. Not to mention things out of order. Had she not been on the verge of a breakdown, she would have screamed. Instead she opted for nearly fainting.

She'd spent hours getting her office just so. And now. And now. It looked like... like... a cadet's room after some horribly carnal night.

Who would have done this to her? Who?!

A thought instantly crossed her mind before the more rational side of her kicked in and reminded her that he wasn't anywhere near here. He wasn't. No. He absolutely wasn't. She would have smelled him by now.

Making herself not twitch visibly, she entered the office and began straightening everything once more. She would find out who did this. Oh, she would. Fiona always got her man.
