Mission Update: The quarantine period has passed without incident, and the crew has been granted a weeks shore leave by Admiral Coyote. We are warping towards New Topeka, a large Class M city-colony world.

Time Between Sims: Three days, and next Sim we will pick up with the crew mid-way through their well earned break.

The USS Comanche Creek crew enjoy some down time. XO Commander Wesley, Comm Officer Lieutenant KVar, and SEC Ensigns Macen and Haruno take in some of the beach scene. CMO Lieutenant TAral deals with some concerns of the Pon Farr variety, and then later does some follow up treatment for Captain Calestorm, who got a bit tuned up by an Orion pirate queen.

Just another average week for this crew!

Time Between Sims: Three Days. At the start of the next Sim, our leave will be ending, and all crew have been recalled to the ship. We'll Sim the recall and the prep work to warp out on our next mission.

05.14.10 - New Mission Start

Mission Update: The crew is currently on recall from our week long shore leave on New Topeka, and we have also received flight clearance to pull away from the Topeka oribital space station. The officers and crew settle back into routine shifts and prep work.

What appears to be a non registered Medical hypo is located in a SEC NCO's locker by Ensign Macen and Ensign Haruno, while Commander Wesley and CMO Lieutenant TAral both deal with a questionable pot of coffee in the officers' lounge. Meanwhile, Captain Calestorm informs CAG Lieutenant Mrkath about the future upgrades for the starfighters, while COMM Lieutenant Kvar gets some bridge command time in before being rescued by the Commander.

Mission preparations are also underway for our new assignment, which will involve sector patrols along the outer border grid, replacement of any communication relays, as well as replacement of any border protection grid modules.

Time Between Sims: Five Minutes. We continue to move out of Topeka space.

The USS Comanche Creek remains on her Klingon-Federation border patrol route and on the lookout for any protection or communication buoys that need replacement. The crew is settling into standard duty patrols and responsibilities, although some might be having an adjustment period due to past memories and current missions colliding. The mystery of the medical hypo was cleared (hay fever medication). Our pilots will be getting a chance to stretch their legs (or is that wings?) on the patrol route.

Time Between Sims: 24 Hours.

The 'Creek continues with our relatively leisure patrol route along the Federation-Klingon border. Several security grid buoys and communications buoys are replaced by the ship's crew and forward fighter patrol pilots working in tandem.

The officers maintaining the bridge watch keep tabs on the patrol patterns, and also find time to make some dinner plans. Meanwhile, the SEC officers maintain their assigned ship patrol routes or oversee the landing bay crew as they ready the replacement buoys for launch and pickup by the fighters.

One security grid buoy is picked up for testing; blaster marks are visible on it's outer casing, indicating that someone used it for target practice. The device is brought on board via fighter tow and tractor beam, and a resident SCI/Forensic team will investigate the damage.

Time Between Sims: Another 24 Hours.

Bridge: SEC Ensign Haruno is left in bridge command by the XO. After both officers complete some general duty requirements and workout time, respectively, Captain Calestorm and CMO Lieutenant Taral discuss the art of command.

Out in the Black: Our XO Commander Wesley gets some flight time in, accompanying CAG Lieutenant Mrkath on a buoy check flight run.

Science Offices: The damaged buoy that was recovered holds a surprise; a three month old distress signal according to what our SCI-Forensics team (lead by NPC Lulu) is able to piece together. Communications Officer Kvar brings a copy of the recording to the main bridge for perusal by Calestorm.

What information does the message contain? Tune in next week to find out.

The distress recording is from the SS Demeter, a civilian cargo vessel that ran into some technical problems and seems to have drifted into contested Federation and Klingon space. The speculation is that the distress call was recorded by the damaged buoy and not transmitted any farther due to the degradation of the communications node. The Captain makes a decision to investigate the three month old recording/incident and attempt to locate any survivors of the Demeter.

Time Between Sims: 5 hours. At the start of our next Sim, the USS Comanche Creek will have just entered into disputed Fed/Klingon space.

Note: We will not be meeting on Friday June 18th in favor of Simming on our new night, Monday, June 21st, 9 PM EST.

06.21.10 - New Night Start, Mondays @ 9PM ET

The USS Comanche Creek has entered disputed Klingon-Federation space and is running on silent stealth mode. We maintain a Yellow Alert status, and are investigating a three month old distress call recording from the cargo ship SS Demeter that was preserved in a damaged communications border buoy.

Shortly after crossing the border, the ship picks up a sensor ghost "tailgaiter" who stays just out of our sensor range. The ghost makes itself known as the Demeter's Revenge, under the command of Captain Korloth, an older Klingon. Korloth proceeds to inform the Captain and bridge crew "It's about time you got here" and "What took you (Starfleet) so long to investigate a distress call from your Demeter" unquote.

Time Between Sims: 5 Minutes.

Calestorm opens a dialogue with Captain Korloth; the Klingon commander claims that he is a former Imperial Navy officer who, displeased with his governments handling of the Nero/Narada attacks, resigned his commission. The older Klingon plans to make his way as a freighter captain. Korloth responded to the distress hail of the Demeter months ago, and rescued the crew when technical problems proved the downfall of the cargo hauler.

His old D5 Class cruiser, the Demeters Revenge, is named for the SS Demeter. Some of the surviving crew of the Demeter have signed on with Korloth, while the remaining crew wish to travel back to Federation space with the Comanche Creek.

Korloth invites an away team to beam over to investigate his claims, his crew, his ship; Capt Calestorm, Wesley, Riap, TAral, Haruno, Belo deploy out. Macen has bridge command, while Akade monitors the away team from the SCI bridge station. Mrkath and his fighters are ordered to maintain a standard patrol pattern within the sector.

Time between Sims: 6 Hours. At the start of next Sim, the 'Creek will be on her way back to Federation held space.

The Comanche Creek has arrived back in Federation held space. The mystery of what happened to the the SS Demeter has been solved: some crew have chosen to serve with independent Klingon Captain Korloth on the Demeters Revenge, while some of the crew chose to return to Fed space with the 'Creek.

Meanwhile, Skylar Akade undergoes a routine crew physical performed by Taral; Innogen Belo is also summoned by the CMO to report for a routine physical. Tifa Kvar and Audraya Wesley make dinner plans, and RADM Coyote makes her displeasure known to CPT Calestorm and CDR Wesley about "hopping borders".

Time Between Sims: 72 Hours. The ship will remain docked at the New Topeka orbital platform at the start of next Sim; when not on duty, officers are permitted to go planet side.

07.12.10 to 07.19.10 - New Mission Start

Your mission, should you choose to accept it...Cows. Yep, cows. Moo-ving along...

The USS Comanche Creek has been tapped to transport foodstuffs, medical supplies, general supplies, and bovine livestock to the colony worlds of Primos Major and Minor.

There have been growing tensions in the Primos sector in the aftermath of the Nero attacks, and the supply and cargo deliveries to the area are still disrupted; two organizations, the Primos (Major) Operational Organization (P.O.O.), and the Confederation of Outer Worlds (C.O.W.) are vying for supply control of the Primos area.

The 'Creek will be heading to this trouble spot to provide a reassuring presence to the locals, deliver the supplies, make sure the two organizations aren't playing power games, perform recon where necessary, and show off that Starfleet Delta Shield on our hull and remind the galaxy that the Fleet Border Patrol is out and about.

Time Between Sims: 07.12.10 (24 Hours) and 07.19.10 (24 Hours); we already have the food and general supplies on board. The cows will be picked up from the New Mars Orbital Docks during the 07.19.10 TBS. At the start of next Sim (07.26.10) we will be preparing to enter Primos space with our precious cargo.

07.26.10 to 08.16.10

Complications arise when CMO TAral and several other Vulcan crew members are lured and attacked on the surface of Primos Major; the malcontents cite an exodus of Vulcan workers (500) from the planet following the Nero attacks as the reason for the altercation. One crew member is seriously wounded. The captain later speaks with the chief detective of the district in which the incident happened.

Commander Wesley and others attend to ship board duties as well, keeping inbound and outbound traffic and officers and communications flowing smoothly. New Sciences and Engineering crew settle in with their ship assignment to the USS Comanche Creek.

In other events, the crew and officers of the 'Creek distribute supplies and engage in informal diplomacy with the natives to alleviate concerns regarding supplies. Several away team members are "buzzed" by local youths who engage in "drive by paintballing" at two of the supply sites.

Eventually, the Primos mission begins to wind down and our combination diplomacy and supply assignment is complete; the 'Creek is currently (08.16.10 Sim) on a patrol course out of the sector.

07.26.10 Time Between Sims: 48 Hours

08.02.10 Time Between Sims: Short; long enough for crew logging.

08.09.10 Time Between Sims: One Hour.

08.16.10 Time Between Sims: One Week; for the 08.23.10 Sim, we will remain on sector patrol.

08.23.10 - New Mission Start

In light of the Nero attacks, Fleet Command has decided to overhaul several outpost stations.

The USS Comanche Creek has been temporarily dispatched to the Delta Vega listening outpost (as seen in the 2009 movie). The normally sleepy (and slightly flea bitten) duty station is due for a complete overhaul (did I mention the flea bitten?) of systems: computer, navigational charts, communications, engineering, life support, security protocols, and medical. Personnel assigned to the station will also be given yearly physicals by our medical staff.

Our duties will be performed through transporters, shuttle and star fighter transport. Due to ionization in the atmosphere, transporter operations will be limited; Pilots will be responsible for transport of personnel/equipment in shuttles when not on patrol.

In addition, a cadet platoon (60 members) from the Starfleet academy is temporarily assigned to Vega and completing their Winter survival training.

Time Between Sims: 3-4 Hours. The crew will still be ship side and making final preparations to touch down on Delta Vega.

The 'Creek crew begins to arrive planet side to tackle the joint mission of Delta Vega Outpost overhaul and cadet training; most senior officers hitch a ride in the shuttles, while others travel in fighters or the cargo shuttles.

LT Belo, LT Akade, LT Tauariki and ENS Haruno travel by shuttle; the officers engage in small talk, and even caught sight of one of the Hengrauggi, the red skinned reptilian predators of Delta Vega. LT TAral traveled with one of the medicinal supply/equipment shuttles, overseeing the transfer of the Med Ops intended for the Vega Medical systems overhaul. CDR Wesley flew planet side in one of the Goshawk fighters, overseeing the general descent of the crew.

CPT Calestorm, meanwhile, was intercepted mid flight by LT Mrkath and given a rather blistering talking to by her ships CAG regarding absconding with one of his 'good' Goshawk fighters for an informal patrol run and flyby. The incident reinforces an adage among Starfleet pilots: A good CAG doesn't see the rank, only the pilot in the cockpit, and wants to keep 'em all alive.

Some personnel have remained planet side at the Delta Vega outpost while other officers have temporarily returned to the 'Creek for the late shift. It is a late night/early morning 2 AM wake up call as the loss of a medical supply shuttle is made known through a transponder signal and sketchy communications, and operations to retrieve the stranded personnel gets underway.

CAG Mrkath and CPT Calestorm are roused from sleep by late shift communications operator NPC Maya, while CDR Wesley is temporarily unreachable due to her voice mail forwarding system.

CMO Taral and NPC shuttle pilot Raden await rescue with the downed shuttle. Pilot NPCs Thumper and Sugar are instrumental in handling the field rescue operations.

ENS Haruno and ENS Macen discuss the joint training of the Delta Vega cadet platoon. LT Kvar attempts to find her way around the outpost while CENG Tauariki and ASCI Akade deal with some recalcitrant engineering systems at the Vega outpost.

Time Between Sims: 10 Minutes. Next Sim, we pick up right where we left off, and the shuttle/personnel rescue will still be underway on the planet's surface as well as the various other assignments/interactions.

The rescue teams continue the effort to haul in the missing medical shuttle personnel as well as the crashed shuttle. The XO got a rather unique wake up call from the CO courtesy of a portable sports air horn. Meanwhile, certain Night Owls are hard at work either on board the 'Creek with ships business or planet side at the Delta Vega station upgrading the systems. Other officers continue to train the green Fleet Cadets temporarily stationed at the outpost.

Time Between Sims: Our Delta Vega Mission continues, but lets punt it forward a bit - TBS is Five Days.

The cadet training platoon (30 personnel count) designated as 'Whiskey' has become trapped in a network of ice caves on the surface of Delta Vega; the cadets, the squad leader, and the senior NCO are unable to move out into the open due to two of the local 'Big Reds' - the Hengrauggi - pinning them down in the caves.

The 'Creek crew has been called in for a rescue operation; transporters have limited capability due to the ionization of the atmosphere. Kvar will be monitoring everyone from the Comm station on the bridge. Places, people, places!

Away Team: Responsible for insertion into the cave network and safely extricating the platoon and any injured to an evacuation point outside the caves.

Belo (Squad Leader/Remote Sensors)

Tauraiki (2nd in Command)

Haruno (Protection)

Macen (Protection)

Akade (Wildlife Expert)

NPC Medic (Injuries)

Flight Team: Responsible for annoying the hell out of the two Big Reds via the Goshawk fighters, luring them away from the cave network, and keeping the beasts' attention off the ground team.

Wesley (providing distraction from the sky)

Troop Transport Mule: Capable of transporting 50 Personnel plus Pilot/Navigator, the Transport will pick up the cadets and away team at a designated extraction point TBD.

Mrkath (Pilot)

TAral (Transport Doctor)

Calestorm (Not happy at being on the sidelines but behaving self)

Hengrauggi Big Reds: Ooooo, snacks! Nom nom nom...

The mission to rescue Whiskey Squad is underway; the Away Team officers are starting to make progress through the caves while the outside distraction teams were doing just that with the two Big Red predators. The Transport Mule stands by to swoop in and perform the extraction of all personnel.

Time Between Sims: Three Months

Notes:

- During the TBS, the rescue as well as the overall mission to Delta Vega is wrapped up (Logs are welcome), and the Comanche Creek is recalled to the New Topeka docks for three months for supplies, equipment upgrades, debriefing meetings, and some shore leave.

- Next Sim (10.04.10) we will be starting a special Season One Finale and One Year Sim Anniversary plot for the 'Creek. We'll be doing honor guard and escort duties, a piece of cake Folks!

10.04.10 - Season One Finale

Happy One Year Anniversary USS Comanche Creek!

Our honorary escort Sim started off well enough: The USS Comanche Creek and the USS Enterprise under Captain Kirk were escorting the USS James Walking Bear and the SS Hard Six from the New Topeka docks. Everyone was in high spirits as the two newest ships to join the Border Patrol and serve under the First Threat Response program were sent on their maiden voyage.

Then...things sorta went downhill. Anyone got that Handbasket?

The Enterprise was also field testing the M5 tactical computer, an invention of Doctor Richard Daystrom. The ship began to have internal systems problems due to the computer, resulting in the ejection of six of their warp core nodules; the nodules explode, catching the USS Comanche Creek in the resulting shock wave, and everything goes dark.

....it would seem our intrepid crew is no longer serving on the 'Creek, but the Hard Six...and are under fire from the ISS Comanche Creek....

Time Between Sims: Very Short

Special thanks to guest star J Tiberius Kirk.

For the purposes of the Halloween Mirror Universe plot, the SS Hard Six is a former Imperial Starfleet Oberth class scout converted for civilian freighter duties. Our in character crew roster will number at about 40.

Well, well, well. These Mirror Universe mercenary counterparts are just a lively bunch of crew....

The SS Hard Six remains docked at Space Station Anubis while the crew engages in the four R's: repair, refuel, resupply, recreation. Preparations are also being made for an upcoming 'mission of mercy' contract assignment to the beleagured Halkan sector. Mission of mercy, though we better dang well get paid!

In the ship's main mess hall, Jed Scarlett flirts with Sakura Haruno who tells him to shove off in so many words. Then, our intrepid texting Jed sends an accidental and racy message to the entire crew....whoops. Meanwhile, Napoleon Complex...wait, I mean Skyler Akade, rules with a firm hand in the Sci Dept, ordering Department Chief Belo around to handle system repairs.

On board the Anubis Station, Calestorm runs into a bit of trouble with a poker game. Thanks to Taral who steps in to intervene, the captain is not pummeled into next week. Meanwhile, Mrkath does some plotting of his own, and observes his current target; it would seem our Resident Cat has a shady past he hasn't entirely shared with us.

Time Between Sims: 2 Hours, and we will be breaking port and getting underway towards the Halkan Sector.

The SS Hard Six makes time towards the Halkan mining colony known as Xanar. With nothing to do but wait and keep systems in order until the start of our evacuation assignment, some of the crew is feeling a bit restless while others engage in their own form of 'meet and greet'. Others maintain their duty cycle, and still others dream a little dream.

Time Between Sims: Four hours. Next Sim, the 'Six and her crew will make orbit at the mining colony planet.

11.01.10 - One Year Anniversary Mirror Universe Mission End

The evacuation mission didn't quite go as planned...

Betrayal! Turncoats! Reprobates! And let's not forget the Imperial Starfleet ships bearing down on the Xanar colony planet; the SS Hard Six, in a valiant attempt to rescue the miners, was caught full on with the ordnance charge, led by the ISS Comanche Creek.

In a flash of white light, the action shifted from the Mirror Universe back to the Regular Universe, and our heroes find themselves back to...themselves!

The USS Enterprise is damaged, suffering from a malfunction by the M5 tactical computer. The USS Comanche Creek has taken damage from the blown warp cores and nacelle from the Enterprise. The state of the other ships that had taken part in the escort mission and ship launch are currently unknown.

Time Between Sims: Fifteen minutes. We pick up at the 11.08.10 Sim with the events of the still compromised escort mission and the damaged USS Enterprise. We are back in the Regular Universe.
