Background and psychological traits :

 

Born on a space station by the Klingon border where her mother was stationed at the time, she grew up moving constantly between space stations, ships and her paternal grandparents home in Dún Laoghaire, Ireland. Ellie followed in her parents steps and studied applied sciences after completion of her basic training at Star Fleet academy . She holds a PhD in environmental science. She served for 2 years on the science vessel Nunavut before being assigned to the USS Arcadia.

 

Ellie is a calm, soft spoken person , who can keep a cold head in stressful situations. She possesses a curious and methodical mind, always trying to learn more. Ellie is an easy going, hard working woman, who was taught to respect diversity and cherish heritage. Despite her usual quiet demeanor, she has been know to get very passionate about subjects close to her heart.
