The Chat Rooms were Down

At 10:15 PM ET tonight, the chat rooms, provided by AddOn Chat, went down and kicked everyone out of the Academy and Agincourt. We cannot even open a trouble ticket with them right now, since the entire AddOn website is also down (ugggh).

 

More details will be made available as we know them. Sorry about this.

The rooms and AddOn's website are still down. We have cancelled the Academy and Agincourt for tonight. It also looks like Arcadia will not be running tonight, either.

Another hour gone by and still their system is down. We will keep checking through the night on this. Once again, we apologize for this failure, but it is beyond our control at this time.

Sorry for the 12 hour delay, but Real Life got in my way.

 

The chat rooms are back up (and have been for hours) after the AddOn Chat folks replaced a "user switch" that went bad.

 

The GM Council is going to start looking around at viable alternatives to using AddOn Chat's rooms, since we expect a greater level of uptime and responsiveness to trouble reporting. Thanks.
