The USS Perseus is in orbit of Centaurus 6 where it was sent to to oversee the security during peace talks between two factions that have been at war for centuries.

 

An away team of medical and security officers beamed down and was caught in explosions and firefight in the conference area.

 

A few hostiles were stunned. They are young, inexperienced, and armed with projectile weapons (bullets, not phasers).

 

Something, possibly a ship in orbit, is jamming communications and transporters so there is no communication with the Perseus; however...

 

Before the comms went down the CSEC and CMO called for help and two shuttles were sent.

 

A medical shuttle with personnel and supplies, and a security shuttle have landed in the area and are assisting the away team with search and rescue.

 

Everyone except the CO is on the ground assisting with serch and rescue.
