MISSION BRIEF: The Union has pulled along side the adrift Scorpiad warship, which hasn't shot us yet. A small away team is in the TR getting ready to beam over, questiones?

Asyle -> We're in EV suits because of what the sensor show, or don't show?

Cptn Corizon -> Yes, you're in EVA.

Mark Garrison -> (I'm pretty sure we confirmed no air or heat over there.)

Laarell -> I hate EV suits. I lose my sex appeal.

Victria -> Too easy.

Fae -> Without em, you'll lose your sex appeal anyway.

Laarell -> When everyone looks like a marshmallow, it's kind of too even a playing field.

Mark Garrison -> S'mores...

Cptn Corizon -> If you want to beam over to a possible vacuum, be our guest.

Cptn Corizon -> BEGIN SIM

Cptn Corizon -> If you want to beam over to a possible vacuum, be our guest.

Cptn Corizon -> BEGIN SIM

Mreh K'hal -> Griffin> :: in the TR, all suited up and ready to be the sacrificial redshirt, even if the department color changed decades ago ::

Mreh K'hal -> :: on the bridge at ops, waiting for Fae to get back from the powder room ::

Fae -> :: At ops, verifying the TR has good coordinates ::

Tandaris Admiran -> ::doublechecking the seal on his suit::

Tandaris Admiran -> Everyone ready?

Demitri Mashschenko -> ::with the doctors, he supposes::

Maryse Dubois -> ::In sickbay, running through Scorpiad data.::

Fae -> (( She would have timed being back well before pulling alongside ))

Mark Garrison -> ::At Tactical, doing what he does best, spinning the console in circles::

Laarell -> I suppose so.

Asyle -> ::in the TR, securing her WASP kit along with her engineering tool kit. Checks phaser settings, and shifts it to 'heavy stun' setting::

Mark Garrison -> ::though, there were data feeds to look at, so...not entirely goofing off::

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::on the bridge, seated at an auxilliary console, dialled into the SEC controls, with channels open to the tac teams::

Mreh K'hal -> :: with Fae apparently back from sprucing up, moves over to an auxiliary console and brings up all sorts of mission specific data to overlook ::

Asyle -> ::Tandaris Admiran:: Ready, sir.

Cptn Corizon -> ::In his chair, looking over the intial scans of the Scorpiad warship::

Fae -> <Mreh> How are we splitting responsibilities, sir?

Demitri Mashschenko -> ::from over Maryse's shoulder:: Ugly things, aren't they?

Rue Wydown -> ::in medical setting up the last of the potiental trauma stations::

Maryse Dubois -> ::Sighs:: This data is so incomplete...

Victria -> ::Suited up already and checking her weaponry for readiness. She turned to Griffin and checked his suit to make certain it was operating properly.::

Mreh K'hal -> :: looks over at Fae :: I want you to work with Lt. Garrison, coordinate monitoring external threats and the Scorpiad ship itself. I'll monitor the away team communications and life signs.

Mark Garrison -> ::rotates to face Corizon:: Captain, if I may make a tactical suggestion?

Fae -> Understood.

Tandaris Admiran -> I'll assume silence means "yes."

Tandaris Admiran -> Or that you've already suffocated in the vacuum.

Tandaris Admiran -> ::steps onto the transporter pad::

Laarell -> ::glances over to Victria, wondering if the little vampire actually needs to breathe, steps onto the pad::

Asyle -> ::steps behind Tandaris Admiran onto the pad::

Mreh K'hal -> Griffin> Thank you, Liuetenant. :: ain't the buddy system grand? it's not every day you get felt up by vamp with no fear of blood loss ::

Victria -> ::Silently, she stepped up onto the transporter pad and waited.::

Maryse Dubois -> ::Turns in Rue's direction.:: Doctor do you suppose there would be a medical database on that ship?

Fae -> :: Gets the computer to locate Lt. Garrison so she know who he is.... Ah.... Tac... Makes sense. ::

Mreh K'hal -> Griffin> :: steps up as well ::

Fae -> :: Turns to the guy spinning his console... ::

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::taps a few commands into the console, doing a little on-the-fly programming for the interface::

Fae -> Umm....

Mark Garrison -> ::stopped spinning, as it's hard to hold a serious conversation with your captain that way::

Rue Wydown -> Possibly. But I would not set ye're heart on it until we know what the away team find over there.

Mreh K'hal -> +Sickbay+ K'hal to sickbay.

Maryse Dubois -> Do you think you could ask them to check? I would like as much data on the various venoms as possible. For my research.

Cptn Corizon -> ::Lifts a brow:: Yes, Mister Garrison?

Rue Wydown -> +K'hal+ This is sickbay, go ahead.

Tandaris Admiran -> ::nods to the transporter operator:: Energize.

Fae -> :: confirms her program searching for any local comm but specifically Scorpiad style comm is running ::

Fae -> :: masks it so it doesn't show chatter from the away team. ::

Cptn Corizon -> << AT, give me a number 1-10 >>

Fae -> :: Looks specifically for anything that looks like systems power up on board the scorpiad ship. ::

Laarell -> (10)

Mreh K'hal -> +Rue+ Doctor, once the away team beams over I'll be monitoring their life signs from the bridge. I'm still going to send the feed down to sickbay so you can monitor from there as well, call up if you see something you don't like.

Mreh K'hal -> Griffin> (2)

Mark Garrison -> (did you put a new bridge layout out?)

Victria -> (( 5 ))

Asyle -> <2>::takes out tricorder and releases her WASPS::

Asyle -> <4>

Cptn Corizon -> << There is a new bridge layout for Excalibur when we get back, we're on Union, which has a regular Excelsior bridge >>

Tandaris Admiran -> <<5>>

Mreh K'hal -> (( there's a new one up for the Excalibur, yes; I think we're using the ST:VI bridge layout for the Union rather than the Ent-B? ))

Mark Garrison -> (oh, I just looked and was like...yeah)

Rue Wydown -> +K'hal+ Thanks. Appreciate it. ::going to one of the main computer consoles to set up the link::

Maryse Dubois -> ::Looks up as Demitri hovers over her shoulder, slightly annoyed.:: Counselor...If you would like a copy of my data, I would be happy to send it to you.

Mark Garrison -> ::Uses the bridges fancy holographics to lay out a display of the system in the middle of the bridge. He gestured to a small planetoid not far from their current postition:: I'd recomend moving the Union here. Given the out lying area....::the 3d...

Mreh K'hal -> :: continues to set up the various monitoring windows on his console, fits his wireless earpiece into his ear and uses a standard soundcheck program to get the volume right ::

Laarell -> ::waits for the shimmer/swirl effect::

Mark Garrison -> ...display moved out showing the whole system:: I'd say it's unlikely that anyone would warp in from that dirrection. It'll give us some breathing room to beam the away team out should anything...come up.

Cptn Corizon -> ACTION> The Away team beams smack into the middle of what is apparently the ships literal waste system. Oh, living ships are fun aren't they?

Fae -> :: Pays attention to the console for a bit ::

Demitri Mashschenko -> ::offers a knowing smirk to Maryse:: Oh no, this is fine.

Fae -> (( It looked like the bridge to me. ))

Mreh K'hal -> Griffin> :: looks around, thinks "Thank goodness for the suit." ::

Tandaris Admiran -> @::materializes standing in a waist-high pond of viscous brown-green fluid:: Hmm.

Mark Garrison -> ::pauses:: It'll also keep the disabled warship between us and whoever, though I'm sure you know as well as I do how well the Union could hold up against one of the Scorpaids phased graviton beams.

Laarell -> ::absolutely hates her life, but hey -- at least she wasn't the only one who ended up in the waste plant::

Tandaris Admiran -> @ Score one for the EV suits.

Laarell -> @ ^

Laarell -> @ Yes.

Tandaris Admiran -> Lt. Lane> ::in main engineering, about to hang up the "_ days since accident" sign they brought over from Excalibur::

Mreh K'hal -> @Griffin> :: adjusts his suit's headlights ::

Tandaris Admiran -> Lt. Lane> ::pauses, considering Admiran and Asyle on the away team, then shakes her head and decides to leave the sign down::

Asyle -> ::smiles, like she's been here before:: Nice landing. WASPs are away, searching for EM signals.

Laarell -> @ ::dryly:: At least the walls aren't compacting.

Cptn Corizon -> ::Considers:: Keep us with in transporter ranger, and put the feed up from the AT on the viewer in split screen.

Maryse Dubois -> ::Brings up a seperate window to monitor the AT as she continues to go through her data.::

Tandaris Admiran -> @::Laarell:: Don't push it.

Mreh K'hal -> :: begins monitoring the away team's chatter ::

Cptn Corizon -> << AT, give me a number, each 1-8 >>

Tandaris Admiran -> @::takes out his tricorder:: Looks like the bridge--at least I think it's the bridge:: is two decks up from here.

Mreh K'hal -> @Griffin> Apparently the bowels on these ships aren't always in the same place, I thought we were aiming for the bridge.

Laarell -> @ ::smiles:: All right. First person to get us out of here gets a cookie when we get back. Where's the exit hatch?

Mreh K'hal -> @Griffin> ((5))

Tandaris Admiran -> <<7>>

Victria -> @ ::Checks the unit on her arm for any power readings now that they were within the ship itself. She pushed through the fluid, in search of an exit.::

Rue Wydown -> ::watches her two newest crew members out of the corner of her eye, curious to see what'll happen between the two of them::

Victria -> (( 2 )0

Laarell -> 1

Asyle -> <<7 Aren't there 12 possibilities on two dice?>>

Asyle -> <<8>>

Mark Garrison -> ::Cori:: Aye sir. ::forwards the coordinates to M'reh::

Laarell -> (Assuming you're using two six-sided dice, darling)

Mreh K'hal -> :: receives the coordinates and adjusts the viewscreen to Corizon's requested specifications ::

Asyle -> << The DD stuff is put away for now>>

Laarell -> @ ::is so glad she has an EVA suit right now, starts her attempt through the muck::

Mreh K'hal -> Halloway> :: adjusts the Union's position to match ::

Tandaris Admiran -> @+Excalibur+ Away team to Excalibur. Thanks a lot for beaming us into what appears to be some sort of waste tank. Or at least, I hope that's what this stuff is. I hope this isn't want the Scorpiads ate ... I could understand their aggression in that case

Cptn Corizon -> ACTION> There does not appear to be an 'exit' per sey in the cavity they're in. Luckily, it seems this is still a living shp and the walls seems spongy, and moving slightly, like internal organs.

Tandaris Admiran -> @+Excalibur+ Anyway, I digress. We've made it aboard and will proceed to the bridge.

Laarell -> @ ::cringes:: I'm going to be ill.

Mreh K'hal -> :: looks over to Fae :: I thought you selected the bridge?

Cptn Corizon -> ::Smirks::

Laarell -> @ ::Admiran:: Tandy, dear, could they retransport us? Please?

Fae -> So did I. I passed my best guess to the TR to verify and refine. Looks like they accepted my original recommendation.

Fae -> Does this style of hull muck up sensors?

Cptn Corizon -> More than likely.

Tandaris Admiran -> @::blinks twice at Laarell's endearment, then resumes surveying the tank:: Doesn't look like they built this with an easy access hatch....

Cptn Corizon -> I am surprised we were able to beam through it.

Mreh K'hal -> +Tandy+ Acknowledged, Commander. Sorry for the... location error.

Demitri Mashschenko -> ::continues to hover for a while longer, before coming to a decision:: We don't need data.

Mark Garrison -> ::glances back to Corizon, and cant help but smirk as well:: Uh, I've got their lifesigns on sensors, though there's no real way to place them anywhere on the ship with out some sort of deck plan.

Fae -> Is out any easier or harder than in?

Laarell -> @ ::huffs::

Cptn Corizon -> ACTION> As Tandaris gets close to the wall of the room, a 'door' opens.

Asyle -> ::starts scooting unseen items away from her feet while looking at her tricorder:: I think the WASPs found a magnetic lock on a pannel over there ::Points to the far wall::

Asyle -> ...and looks like they opened it for us. Good WASPs!!

Cptn Corizon -> << Wait, you brought the WASPs over there? >>

Mark Garrison -> ::Cori:: Or at least, phasing in and out...I'll try to track them by the transport tags.

Victria -> @ ::Glancing around at the others, she eyed Tandaris' door and waded over.::

Tandaris Admiran -> @::looks at door suspiciously, peering beyond it::

Asyle -> <<Sure. Takes a bug to something with a bug, right?>>

Cptn Corizon -> < eeeeeexxxxxxelllllleeeeennnnntttttt >>

Laarell -> @ ::sighs::

Laarell -> (... that's the most fricking terrifying thing I've ever read in a chatroom)

Mreh K'hal -> @Griffin> :: wades through the muck, covering the rear of the team; though at this point more concerned with the acid content of the muck than Scorpiads ::

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::noting that the teams are still at the ready, tapping into the SEC log, checking on reports for the regular rounds as well::

Tandaris Admiran -> <<We are. So Screwed.>>

Fae -> :: Doesn't dwell much on the AT's situation. Watches the ship for any signs of systems powering up. ::

Tandaris Admiran -> @::shrugs and goes through the door::

Asyle -> @::starts following her tricorder indications, as well as the signals from the WASPs:: Looks safe outside, so far

Rue Wydown -> ::looking through the data streaming over to the station::

Demitri Mashschenko -> ::self-assured, Maryse:: We've got what we need.

Mreh K'hal -> @Griffin> :: follows the rest of the team out of the ship's literal bowels, slopping waste all over and back in the process ::

Cptn Corizon -> ACTION> The Door opens in to a cooridor that looks newly formed.

Victria -> @ ::Her gaze darted around as they exited the waste disposal, irritated that her senses were dulled even futher by the EVA suit.::

Tandaris Admiran -> @::glances down at his tricorder:: This corridor wasn't here a moment ago. ::Victria:: Do Scorpiad ships do this sort of thing often?

Maryse Dubois -> How can you say that? This is incomplete at best. If we had full data we would be able to more easily create antivenoms.

Laarell -> @ This is far too easy. Are you sure this isn't another side of its digestive tract -- with horrible acids and enzymes?

Mark Garrison -> ::takes a break in his scanning for bad guys to glance at Charlotte:: Any problems from the defense teams?

Mreh K'hal -> :: notes the usual stress reactions on their lifesigns, what he can get through the interference, anyway ::

Demitri Mashschenko -> They've listed the symptoms of intoxication, haven't they?

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::glances to Garrison:: None at the moment. They are still on alert, and the regular patrols are reporting nothing out of the ordinary.

Maryse Dubois -> simply listing symtoms is not enough.

Asyle -> @::WASP indicate small life forms approaching:: Tandaris Admiran> Sir, looks like small bugs are approaching us. Too many to count, and too small to register clearly!

Tandaris Admiran -> @::Laarell:: Do you see any alternative path?

Victria -> @ Not when the Scorpiad are aboard, no. But this is a type of living organism. It is possible that it has some sort of programming to react to the needs of any living being aboard. ::She glanced at Tandaris.:: Or to protect itself.

Mreh K'hal -> :: looks over to Fae, Mark :: How are we doing on getting ship layout on sensors? Be nice to forward something over to them.

Laarell -> @ Not really, no.

Laarell -> @ But I take no responsibility if we die a slow death, being digested over a thousand years. ::smiles sweetly::

Victria -> @ ::She walked near one of the walls of the corridor, searching for any other openings off the main hallway.::

Demitri Mashschenko -> Yeah, but we can treat the symptoms.

Fae -> I'll work it. It clearly doesn't match the class standard.

Mark Garrison -> ::Matsumura:: Good. ::turns back to M'reh:: Well...they are taking scans as they go...we could build the ship around them.

Tandaris Admiran -> @::nods at Laarell and Victria:: OK, no one wander off. We don't want the ship reconfiguring a wall between people. ::Asyle:: The word "bugs" is becoming dangerously ambiguous in this quadrant. Please elaborate.

Laarell -> @ ::snerk::

Cptn Corizon -> ACTION> A small swarm of tiny creatures pass through the hallway, as if the AT wasn't there.

Tandaris Admiran -> @ Oh, you mean bugs.

Mreh K'hal -> @Griffin> :: aiming at the little things, whatevery they may be ::

Fae -> :: starts to work a new map of the "deck plan" from scrach. Tries to see how it matches or doesn't match other 'ships' of the 'class'. ::

Cptn Corizon -> ::Looks over:: Well if I remember right from my time aboard the fighter that captured me, the things can change their configuration fairly easily.

Tandaris Admiran -> @ It makes sense that an organic ship would have organic maintenance components.

Mreh K'hal -> Well, it wouldn't be the first time or doubtless won't be the last we've sent a team over blind.

Victria -> @ Is anyone reading any signs of atmosphere? ::Checking her scanner.::

Mark Garrison -> ::pulls up the ship on the main screen and switches to a cut away, he then laid in the position of the waste containers, and the hall they were currently in:: We'll have to do it the hard way, unless we have an Scropiad ship designers handy?

Laarell -> @ Negative. Not so far, anyway.

Tandaris Admiran -> @ Treat this like neutral ground. Unless it attacks you first, don't attack it ... we don't want to provoke anything.

Asyle -> @::looks down at her dirty EVA suit:: They look like, what do you humans call them, ants? They are picking up the trash adhearing to our EVA suits and carrying it off. Nice trick!!

Demitri Mashschenko -> Inflamation, pain, allergic response...I expect we can keep them stable.

Maryse Dubois -> Without knowing the dirrect cause of the symtoms you would only be making a guess. You could easily mis-diagnose. You could cause more harm than good.

Tandaris Admiran -> @::realizes that Asyle can't see his spots through his faceplate but glances dubiously at the Orion and the Al-Ucard::

Laarell -> @ ::looks at Asyle for a moment, wondering why she's suddenly been demoted to human status::

Rue Wydown -> Sometimes, that's all ye get, Doctor.

Mreh K'hal -> :: considers, using his medical expertise :: We might want to try using more of our life-science sensor pallets here, even down to using the biobed scan subroutines. It may give us a clearer look.

Laarell -> ::is still a lovely shade of avocado, tyvm::

Mreh K'hal -> @Griffin> :: looks like a giant marshmallow to him ::

Tandaris Admiran -> @::shakes tricorder:: Well according to the new order of things, the bridge is now only one deck above us. We need to find an access shaft or lift or whatever it is they use to move around.

Mark Garrison -> ::Mreh, Fae:: I don't suppose anyone went over with a medical tricorder?

Charlotte Matsumura -> ((What an incredible smell you've discovered...? ))

Maryse Dubois -> I won't deny that Doctor. But if you are able to get all the facts, the better.

Cptn Corizon -> ::Leans over and hits the comm button on his chair:: +AT+ So... what's the innards of that thing like?

Laarell -> @ ::is going to be in the sonic-shower for simply hours::

Fae -> I didn't ask.

Victria -> @ ::Unbothered, she continued to search the corridor.:: Unless the ship has been reconfigured, there should be a shaft to the upper level over here. ::She waved a hand toward the end.::

Mreh K'hal -> Probably not. :: frowns :: We can't even just transport one over because we don't know where it would end up.

Laarell -> @ ::But hey, if she got a pet Scorpiad ship out of it, it'd still be worth it.::

Tandaris Admiran -> @::motions subtly for everyone to follow Victria:: +Corizon+ It's like a maze, only with goo and dramatic lighting.

Mark Garrison -> ::Mreh:: Well, we put emergency transport tags on their suits...considering the patchy sensor ability to scan in there...

Tandaris Admiran -> @+Excalibur+ It's actually a fascinating look at the potential for the practical application of organic shipbuilding vis a vis the limitations of traditional mechanics.

Laarell -> @ ::mutter:: And imaginably a stench.

Mark Garrison -> ::sighs:: I can't believing im suggesting this...

Asyle -> @::sees Victria indicate a direction, and sends the WASPs in that general direction:: I'll get some eyes down that way in just a second everyone.

Rue Wydown -> Sorry luv, sometimes we don't have to time to research every detail of a person's sympotomology before we can treat them. Sometimes it's enough just to make sure they're still breathin.

Fae -> :: As long as they don't have dramatic sound effects... like an orchestra playing scary music. ::

Mark Garrison -> But...couldn't we have them act like transport enhancers, for a beam in point?

Mreh K'hal -> Let me talk to the transport chief, see what she says about it. :: calls on down to Lisanna ::

Victria -> @ ::Nearly snatched one of those WASPs out of the air as it buzzed past her head, but checked her reactions as she realized it was Asyle's machinery.::

Tandaris Admiran -> @::Laarell:: This ship was made for arachnids ... maybe we should have brought along Citrus.

Laarell -> @ ::grins:: She'd have been pouncing as soon as those things came flying.

Mreh K'hal -> @Griffin> :: continues bringing up the rear, not needing dramatic sound effects to know things could get ugly quick here ::

Laarell -> @ But hey, if we get more time and an atmosphere, maybe the girl could do some exploring. ::mutter:: ... and find things to eat on her own, for once.

Maryse Dubois -> <<That sounds like a cue for the dice.>>

Demitri Mashschenko -> You find answers. I'll find a sandwich.

Cptn Corizon -> << it is >>

Tandaris Admiran -> <<I move that people NOT on the away team can't propose to put the team in mortal peril merely on a whim....>>

Mreh K'hal -> :: finishes his conversation with Lisanna :: She says it would make transporting easier, having a more definite target to use for a location lock, but the ship's organic hull will still be problematic. She says she may hit it on the dime, or transport...

Tandaris Admiran -> <<Excepting our dear captain, of course.>>

Mreh K'hal -> the tric into somone's stomach.

Asyle -> @::reviewing the WASP video being sent to her control PADD:: Looks like we've found something here ::shows pictures to Tandaris::

Maryse Dubois -> <<hehe>>

Fae -> << Deer? Not dog? :: Confused :: >>

Mark Garrison -> ((What about the guy with the button for the torpedo launcher?))

Mreh K'hal -> I don't have the pips to make that call, especially since we don't know how much it will really help.

Cptn Corizon -> ACTION> Trics begin detecting Atmosphere forming. The temp rises to around 79 degrees F, and the humidity begins to accumulate to around 88%.

Laarell -> @ ::cringes at the readings:: It's like a fracking swamp in here.

Laarell -> @ I hate swamps.

Tandaris Admiran -> @ Whoa. Looks like we're finally getting environmental systems.

Mark Garrison -> ::Mreh:: Yes... and a scanner in the stomach wont help anything...

Demitri Mashschenko -> Unless...::glances to Wydown::...is Triage duty imminent?

Mark Garrison -> Captain?

Tandaris Admiran -> @ It's possible the ship isn't as badly damaged as we thought, or if it was, it's been repairing itself steadily. Maybe it was just conserving power until it detected life-forms....

Cptn Corizon -> ::Looks over:: Yes, Mister Garrison?

Laarell -> @ ::gets that vague feeling of being the cute chick of the bunch whose purpose was to provide eye candy and complain until she died in a terribly scream-inducing fashion::

Mreh K'hal -> @Griffin> :: grunts :: Can't say I really like the idea of being on a ship with a mind of its own.

Victria -> @ ::Making headway down the hallway, taking point, behind Asyle's WASPs.:: That is a possibility, but I would still not trust the atmosphere. If it forms suddenly, it can disappear just as suddenly.

Maryse Dubois -> ::Decides she's losing the war of words for the time being and resumes looking over the AT data feed.::

Cptn Corizon -> ACTION> Condensation forms on the visors of the EVA helmets.

Tandaris Admiran -> +Excalibur+ Our presence may or may not have triggered activation of a number of the ship's systems. There does seem to be a gradual increase in activity.

Tandaris Admiran -> @::activates his wipers::

Rue Wydown -> No, you can hit the chow line if you like. Or the racks. Take the break while we have it.

Mark Garrison -> Mreh and I believe sending a medical tricorder over to the AT might help their scans along, given the organic components of the ship. However...we can't guarantee that I'll get where we want it to go...trails off, assuming the Captain heard that quip...

Fae -> I have not been picking up activating systems on sensors, captain. Assume sensors are being masked.

Mark Garrison -> about tricorders in the stomach::

Mreh K'hal -> +Tandy+ Understood, Commander. We're contemplating some options to help you out a bit, the organic hull is still causing a bit of a problem with sensors.

Cptn Corizon -> ::Looks over to Garrison:: Go to Yello Alert, but keep shields and weapons down. I don't want to alarm the thing. Helm, put some distance between us.

Mreh K'hal -> Halloway> Aye, Captain. :: moves to the edge of transporter range ::

Demitri Mashschenko -> Care to come along? ::asks Wydown, but looks to Maryse as well, extending the offer::

Fae -> (( We went to yellow last week ))

Tandaris Admiran -> @::Asyle, Victria:: Find anything yet? Lift? Ramp? Incredibly impractical chase scooters?

Mark Garrison -> ::hits the yellow button:: Aye sir, yellow alert.

Cptn Corizon -> << I assume we stood down when it didn't shoot at us >>

Rue Wydown -> No, thanks for the offer. But you can bring me back some chips. ::toothy smile::

Tandaris Admiran -> <<I thought we changed it so the yellow alert button is chartreuse and the red alert button is taupe?>>

Laarell -> @ ::wiping at the visor with a gloved hand, getting the nasty feeling they'd have to open the visors sooner than later::

Cptn Corizon -> << AT, each give me a number 1-20 >>

Mreh K'hal -> @Griffin> :: wipes the condensation off the helmet visor once again, wishing Starfleet would install wipers on them ::

Laarell -> (19)

Mreh K'hal -> @Griffin> ((15))

Mark Garrison -> ::Charlotte:: Tell the defense teams to keep the same report in times, but I want them battle ready as soon as we move to Red Alert.

Tandaris Admiran -> <<4>>

Maryse Dubois -> ::Shakes her head as she continues to look at the monitor.:: I am not hungry.

Mark Garrison -> Or if...

Victria -> @ ::Adjusts her suit's internal controls to match the outside temperature and negate the condensation.::

Asyle -> <<18>>

Victria -> (( 20 ))

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::nods:: Aye, sir.

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::comms the teams, relaying the CSEC's message...gets their reports back::

Mreh K'hal -> :: calls back down to Lisanna to have her ready a medical tric in case the captain gives the go ahead for the attempt ::

Mark Garrison -> ::has the feeling

Mark Garrison -> ::

Cptn Corizon -> ACTION> The WASPs are suddenly caught in web-like white energy fields, as tendrils spike up from the floor and down from the ceiling and grab the AT members, with the notable exception of the vampire by the arms and legs::

Demitri Mashschenko -> A lonely dinner then. Pity.

Laarell -> @ ::shrieks::

Tandaris Admiran -> @::struggles instinctually against his bonds:: Huh.

Rue Wydown -> ::glancing at Dubois, shakes her head, then picks up her tricorder and meanders towards the door with the counselor:::

Laarell -> @ What the hell...

Mreh K'hal -> @Griffin> :: snared :: Well, that's certainly one way to do an intruder alert.

Tandaris Admiran -> @ So this doesn't look good.

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::to Garrison:: Sir, teams are reporting ready and waiting.

Demitri Mashschenko -> ::offers a quick wave on his way out::

Asyle -> @::looks at the WASP video on their control PADD:: oh boy, this isn't good...

Cptn Corizon -> ACTION> The harder you stuggle, the tighter they get, and with a nice shock to go along with it.

Mreh K'hal -> :: listening to the comms :: Something's up.

Cptn Corizon -> ::Lifts a brow towards the screen::

Cptn Corizon -> Lovely.

Tandaris Admiran -> @::grunts as he's shocked through the non-conductive material of his suit...::

Laarell -> @ ::shakes arm one more time in frustration, cursing colorfully:: Well, this is just lovely, isn't it.

Mreh K'hal -> :: looks over at the helmet feed :: Ah, that'll do it.

Fae -> :: Decides it would be a bad time to state the obvious ::

Tandaris Admiran -> @::notices Victria remains unimpeded:: Little help here?

Asyle -> @::commands the WASPs to shut down, hoping they don't short out in the energy field::

Laarell -> @ ::glaring daggers at Victria::

Cptn Corizon -> ACTION> The WASPs are unresponsive.

Victria -> @ ::Narrowing her gaze, she approached one of the tendrils holding Tandaris and took hold of it, seeing if it reacted to her touch.::

Mreh K'hal -> @Griffin> :: hanging limply, knows a variation on devil's snare when he sees it ::

Laarell -> @ ::Because if anyone had to not get caught, it would be Victria. Fracking karma.::

Cptn Corizon -> ACTION> The tendril releases.

Tandaris Admiran -> @::can now move his left arm:: A slight improvement.

Asyle -> @::her WASP pad fries, smoke wisping out from it:: Damn....

Tandaris Admiran -> @::uses his free arm to tug on the tendril wrapped around his right arm::

Mark Garrison -> ::pulls up the helmet feed as well:: An immune response to foreign objects...?

Mark Garrison -> ::to the bridge in general::

Cptn Corizon -> Possibly. The Al-Ucard use similar bondings.

Mreh K'hal -> Whatever it is, I'm sure you'd take it as an intruder alert response.

Fae -> :: Doen't attempt to focus on the AT situation. Maintains focus on the externals ::

Victria -> @ It must be programmed that Al-Ucardian lifesigns are not intrusive. ::She did the same with the other tendrils holding Tandaris.::

Demitri Mashschenko -> ::heads off in the direction (he thinks) of the mess::

Laarell -> @ ::inward groan::

Mark Garrison -> ::Cori:: It didn't grab Victria...they may be set to guard against alien lifeforms.

Rue Wydown -> ::heads back in to her office to get a bit of break before all heck breaking loose::

Tandaris Admiran -> @::freed now, and gives a nod of thanks to Victria:: Makes sense.

Mreh K'hal -> Ensign Waters, in the meantime, why don't you try applying the biobed scan subroutines to the secondary life-science sensors, take it for a test drive.

Cptn Corizon -> Likely. Though odd that they wouldn't have programed it to defend against the Al-Ucard, given the situation.

Victria -> @ ::She moved to the others to free them, starting with Griffin.::

Tandaris Admiran -> @+Excalibur+ We've hit a minor snag in our progress, but it looks like we'll be ... free of it soon.

Mreh K'hal -> :: hearing Corizon: : Maybe this ship's been in the fold since before the strife?

Tandaris Admiran -> @::stoops and picks up his dropped tricorder::

Asyle -> @::gathers up her WASPs, and all are off-line having been stunned or shorted out::

Fae -> :: Raises an eyebrow :: Rodger. Lieutenant Garrison, you have externals.

Cptn Corizon -> A possability.

Fae -> :: Starts trying the biobed routines, though it really isn't in her area of knowledge ::

Victria -> @ ::Then frees Asyle.::

Mreh K'hal -> +Tandy+ Acknolwedged, we're getting your feed.

Laarell -> @ ::Laarell yanked on a tendril in impatience, hissing a bit when it shocked her.::

Mark Garrison -> ::nods acknowledgement to Fae, then turns back to Cori:: Well, there are still Al-Ucard loyalists to the Scorpiad, aren

Mark Garrison -> 't there?

Mark Garrison -> ::punches his keyboard::

Cptn Corizon -> ::Tips his head:: A few, yes.

Victria -> @ ::Then finally Laarell.::

Mreh K'hal -> :: watches Laarell's lifesigns spike again as she's shocked yet again ::

Laarell -> @ Thank you, Lieutenant. ::saccharine and sweet::

Asyle -> @::Victria:: thanks. But why didn't they grab you?

Mreh K'hal -> @Griffin> Now what's to keep that from repeating every ten meters?

Mark Garrison -> Though...I don't know much on their social structure. Are the ship manned entirely by Scorpiad, or do their client races serve as well?

Laarell -> @ ::snerk:: Because it thought she was its fwend.

Fae -> :: Tries to use the bio routines to get a better scan through the hull than she has had in the past ::

Cptn Corizon -> We don't honestly know, to tell you the truth.

Fae -> :: Assumes there is a difference between idle state and current more active state, and tries to find a sensor mode that can tell. ::

Victria -> @ Nothing. ::To Griffin.::

Tandaris Admiran -> @::Laarell:: I believe the colloqiualism "frenemy" may be pertinent.

Laarell -> @ ::of course, no one could blame the Scorpiad vessel for not knowing that Victria didn't have fwends.::

Mreh K'hal -> @Griffin> Well, glad to have you along Lieutenant.

Victria -> @ Unless we reach the bridge and can reprogram the ship.

Laarell -> @ ::nods, snorting::

Cptn Corizon -> ::Leans over and hits the comm:: +AT+ Well the longer you guys stand there, the better chance it will try it again.

Tandaris Admiran -> @ Going to the bridge? Now why didn't I think of that?!

Mark Garrison -> ::shakes his head:: Starfleet Intelligence, I tell you.

Mark Garrison -> ::snorts, to hold back a laugh at what Cori just said::

Laarell -> @ ::starts at the sudden comm::

Demitri Mashschenko -> ::enters the mess, heading straight for the grub line::

Victria -> @ ::She strode down the corridor as best she could inside the EVA suit, searching for the shaft that led to the brige.::

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::passes a sidelong glance at Garrison's comment, but otherwise shows no outward reaction::

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::furrows her brow slightly, reviewing her screen::

Laarell -> @ ::wouldn't call it "striding", would call it "marshmallow waddling", but since she wasn't faring much more elegantly, can't really make very snarky comments::

Tandaris Admiran -> @ All right, people. Everyone stick with the tour. ::moves ahead:: And we're walking, we're walking....

Rue Wydown -> :;mumbling to herself:: I cannae believe that....::mutter grumble:: ....bloody booky...::mutter mutter:: ...going to be rubbish in....::mutter::

Mreh K'hal -> @Griffin> :: snickers inside his helmet at Tandy ::

Charlotte Matsumura -> (( I have to go. Night, folks! ))

Mark Garrison -> ::bridge in general again:: Are we sure that the ship wont react with more...hostility should the away team attempt to access a sensitive area like the bridge or engineering?

Cptn Corizon -> ACTION> An access shaft opens in the side of the hallway.

Mark Garrison -> Assuming again, that they have an engineering.

Cptn Corizon -> Frankly, we don't know what the ship is going to do.

Laarell -> @ Ooo. A door, it opens.

Tandaris Admiran -> @::glare at Laarell for stating the obvious:: Why don't you be so kind as to venture forth first then?

Fae -> <Mreh> Some improvement with the bio scan method.

Laarell -> @ ::smirks::

Laarell -> @ Ladies first, hmm?

Laarell -> @ ::arranges herself into the access tube, expecting fully to be beheaded by some ghastly device of unseemly origin::

Mreh K'hal -> :: looks over at Fae :: Good, maybe it'll help at least give us some warning of increased activity. :: accesses the new feed and transfers it along the comms to the AT to augment their in-person scans ::

Demitri Mashschenko -> ::orders a BLT, and makes quick work of it - leaving few crumbs on the plate::

Asyle -> @::to Tandaris, Laarell, & Victria:: I have an idea, and it's based on communication between various types of bugs.

Fae -> Umm..... Will do, sir, but the resolution is very vague. I suspect they'd best depend on the Mark I eyeball.

Laarell -> @ ::looks up, seeing if the access tube leads to the Bridge::

Tandaris Admiran -> @::Asyle:: Does it involve dancing?

Victria -> @ ::Looks to Asyle.::

Fae -> :: Sends over the scan information none the less ::

Mreh K'hal -> Not the right sort of equipment to use this properly, I suppose, but something's better than nothing. I'll send this along to science and medical to see if they can think of any way to refine it. :: does so ::

Rue Wydown -> ;:flops down into her chair, keys into the AT vitals on her desk computer, sets a few alarm criteria before sitting back and trying to relax as she waits;;

Cptn Corizon -> ACTION> The tube is big enough for a Scorpiad, silly. The Orion finds herself neatly deposited on the 'bridge' with is a large round room with a center dias in the middle and large moat like pit around it. The room seems to have harder 'rib' like strucures supporting it.

Laarell -> @ Oooh. This is cool.

Tandaris Admiran -> @+Laarell+ Are you still alive?

Mreh K'hal -> @Griffin> :: continues to cover in the hallway ::

Laarell -> @ ::Tandy:: Of course I am, Mister Admiran. You shouldn't imply such nasty things; they might come true!

Fae -> They are entering an interesting area.

Mreh K'hal -> @Griffin> :: with the absence of ear-splitting screams over the suit comm unit, assumes Laarell kept her limbs inside ::

Asyle -> @::looks at tricorder:: Funny you should mention it. Like the dance bees do to communicate direction to fields with lots of pollen in it, I think the ship 'smells' instead of senses with scanners. How else would it have known to send out the ants, or to

Asyle -> leave Victria alone?

Tandaris Admiran -> @::pauses, pondering:: +Laarell+ We'll resume that train of thought later....

Tandaris Admiran -> @::motions for the away team to follow Laarell's footsteps as he himself enters the access shaft::

Mreh K'hal -> @Griffin> :: though of course as the unheard of security grun on the mission is more likely to lose limbs than anyone else ::

Demitri Mashschenko -> ::stomach full - takes a moment to look around at the other crewmen::

Laarell -> @ ::looking around the Bridge, in a bit of awe::

Laarell -> @ This is actually almost beautiful...

Mreh K'hal -> :: looks at the helmet feed, their most useful look at what the AT is experiencing :: Hmm, looks like they hit paydirt.

Victria -> @ Griffin... ::Motions to him.:: I will take rear guard. Follow Admiran.

Mark Garrison -> ::releaved he wasn't right about the Scorpiads putting extra protection on the bridge::

Mreh K'hal -> @Griffin> Acknowledged. :: follows Tandy ::

Tandaris Admiran -> @::Asyle:: How would the ship be able to distinguish among members of the away team when we're in hermetically sealed suits?

Tandaris Admiran -> @::arrives on the bridge:: Ritzy.

Asyle -> @::enters the bridge behind Tandaris Admiran and Laarell:: We touched them on the outside, didn't we? It could leave enough of a trace to identify us...

Victria -> @ I am certain it has the ability to decipher our lifesign readings. ::To Asyle.::

Mreh K'hal -> :: as much as he misses the Excalibur, wouldn't even trade the Union bridge in for what he's seeing on the viewer ::

Demitri Mashschenko -> ::takes special note of the ones he suspects will be visiting his office::

Mreh K'hal -> Now how do they know which button, node, blobbule to push over there?

Cptn Corizon -> Hell if I know.

Asyle -> @::Victria:: I'm just wondering what technology basis they are using. EM, or chemical, and my bet is it's chemical.

Cptn Corizon -> I am sure Victria will have more of a general idea.

Rue Wydown -> ::nodding off a bit, keeping an ear for the alarm::

Tandaris Admiran -> @::Asyle:: Interesting point. You may want to bring that up with Commander Teykier when it's a convenient time.

Cptn Corizon -> ...and...because I can't play three characters in two rooms at once...

Cptn Corizon -> PAUSE SIM
