star trek remastered

HI-everyone -i have a question should i buy the Remastered TOS Startrek or not -still not sure of doing it -any opinions are appreciated -<No-blueray_no dvd for that----and what about <the Playmates New> ship Enterprise should i buy that too-loved the ship/in the movie

Not having the money for such extravagence, it's hard for me to say. I will say that I dislike all the 'remastering'. It looks fake; at least when you look at the original series, the effects match the television era they were made in. The result is a comfortable ( if not always impressive ) mesh of space, location, and interior scenes.

 

'Flashier', or 'technically superior' does not always mean 'better'. Of course, if you wish to make up your own mind then go to YouTube and search 'Star Trek Remastered'.

 

Take a look at the clips and make up your own mind. I will say that the visuals are impressive.

T'Kar...you can go to either hulu,or the CBS site and watch a few for free as well. It may help you on the decision.. :)
