Mission Summary

The USS Republic begins its return to gather they away team and the data they have collected. Joy discusses with the Admiral things that could cause the wormhole to be unstable and the planet they found on the other side to be as it was.

Meanwhile, on the Shuttle, the team takes flight again. They didn't want a re occurrence of what had happened previously. They began hiding in the clouds to keep their cover.

The Elders on the planet held a meeting in their private hiding place below a storage area. After much discussion, they decided that it would be in their best interest to destroy the *Monster* Before it had a chance to destroy them. They opened a panel with a glass plating on it and launched a missile at the Shuttle, making a connection with its port nacel. The shuttle begins leaking plasma from its damage. The crew is working to keep the shuttle airborne, and contacts the Republic to advice them of the trouble, and the urgency to be picked up as quickly as possible.

The Republic increases speed to try to get to the shuttle before something happens.

Will they Make it?

I'm concerned about this talk of "The Monster". Their sensors have to be awfully good if at this range they can positively identify Will. ;)
