Mission Briefing - 0903.06

U.S.S. Reaent Mission Briefing

Stardate 0903.05

The Reaent is headed to Camelot Station, quite a bit of a journey away. Two weeks have passed since the ship successfully mined the Gamma Quadrant end of the Romulan wormhole. In the meantime, the ship's database(s) have been updated with information transferred from the Excalibur. In addition, questions linger in the minds of some about whether or not the ship is in good enough shape to be able to sustain speed for another month and a half.

Database Updates:

The area established to be the exit point of the Romulan wormhole, as well as the location of the battle involving the Reaent and Excalibur, is 'geometrically' below the explored regions of Dominion space.

Most of the immediate sectors are controlled by a group known as the Cult of Iyves. Other species that also move throughout the trade routes includes a raider group known as the Boganary.

At the edge of territory controlled by the Cult of Iyves is the planet HaVorante. According to records provided by the Excalibur, it is believed this planet is home to the race that were used as the basis for the 'modern day' Vorta. Despite their genetically modified offspring, the planet was not a happy member of the Dominion itself. It is located approximately one month's travel from Camelot Station at maximum warp (1.5 given the Reaent's current condition).

Current Course:

The projected course recommended by the Excalibur has the Reaent moving on the edge of Cult of Iyves claimed territory and narrowly intersecting known Boganary grounds.

Satarami:

An ancient race possibly dating back to the era of the Iconians in the Alpha Quadrant. They are long-eared, blue-skinned humanoids once controlling a large empire that would rival the modern day Dominion or all claimed Alpha Quadrant territory. Secretive and mildly Xenophobic, these extremely powerful telepaths are reported to rarely show themselves.

Boganary:

These are short, green creatures, are defined as crude, vicious and primitive. This being said, records show they should not be underestimated. They are considered cunning and creative, utilize a pack-like structure lead by a single female "auntie."

This species are made up completely of raiders. They live for pranking and capturing vessels. Their technology varies depending on what they have been able to capture, similiar to the Pakled of the Alpha Quadrant. They have shown a strong ability to integrate components from various races together to make functional systems. Warnings show their vessels should never be approached lightly as they seem to store many weapon systems as possible.

Cult of Iyves:

This is a secretive group who control a large area of the space formerly belonging to the Satarimi. They cycle between active and dormant periods. Their technology is very advanced, with ships moving in packs of small raiders attached to a larger starship.

Their primary activities involve capturing various aliens thru the use of highly sophisticated transporter technology. Reports indicate captured victims have blood drained for use ini scientific and possibly sacrificial rituals.

Starships of this grup are sleek and very functional in design. Their weaponry is comparable to those aboard Federation vessels, though they have shown the ability to use directed transporter technology to forcibly beam through shields. Military personnel dress in a white armor and wear masks to conceal their faces.

Deep appreciation to Captain Corizon for helping with much of the above information.
