Ok, i can not seem to get around this site, when i follow descriptions it places me on startrek.com which doesnt recoginize my login, also it said i have to join accadamy and yet their closed, and other choices say shut down perm ! whats up, please help !

Welcome to STSF. ;) The first place you want to go is the Getting Started page. All of the links under the Table of Contents section of that page contain useful information about roleplaying with STSF; none of them lead to the StarTrek.com site. You can also look at the Tips From Moose forum for lengthier posts on specific topics related to simming.

 

Before you can join an Advanced Sim, you do need to go through the academy training process first. So after you've read the Getting Started section, check the Schedule for a list of academy times. There's one every day, at varying times, so choose whatever works best for you. You don't always have to attend the same one either.

The login you need is the same one you're using to post on these boards. Once you're logged in, the "live chat" button on the top toolbar of the boards will get you into the chat room. You will need to make sure you have the Java plugin installed in order to use the chat room.

 

The schedule will tell you when the games run. Be sure to convert the times to your local time zone.

Sorry for your problems, Rock. Unfortunately we had some issues with the site tonight. Webbie is working on it and when you read this the situation should be under control.

 

Try the chat rooms when the schedule says there is a sim going on. You can find the schedule in Tachyon's and LoAmi's posts. Simming starts at 9pm ET some days, and at 10pm on others. Regardless, the chat rooms should be up and running.

simulation Scheduals also you can check out the rules page if you havent done so yet Rules they will help you to get started on stsf you might want to check out Tips From the Moose they are really great I read them and they helped me out graduating from the Academy ...
