=/\=MISSION BRIEF=/\=

It is the time of the Maquis rebellion.

We have captured the Maquis ship Jeanne d'Arc.

To gather information on the dissidents, we have taken the place of the Maquis crew and will carry out their mission.

A reminder that our European-friendly academy will take place this afternoon/evening at:

* 3:00 PM US Eastern Daylight Time

* 8:00 PM GMT, Western European Time (London) - may be 7:00 PM GMT

* 9:00 PM Central European Time (Germany) - may be 8:00 PM CET

Please be advised that the east coast of the US will turn their clocks forward one hour at 2 am on March 8. This will make the European academy one hour earlier unless your location also moves its clocks one hour ahead.

The Sunday academy still flies at 3 pm Eastern US time, but it will be Eastern Daylight Time.

Yes, it's confusing. A holdover from farming days and antiquated, but the rule nonetheless. Perhaps by the 24th century daylight savings will be ancient history.

Hopefully we will see you there.

The Federation Starship Prometheus (Defiant Class) was summoned to Alpha Colony on Keteron III.

Several domestic animals have disappeared and some colonists have reported seeing a phantom.

Due to the highly classified nature of the research at the colony, Starfleet has asked us to investigate.

Colony Director Torres has told us that the research they are doing is classified and that it involves miniaturization.

A scan immediately after another animal disappeared revealed a small amount of chronitons, but they faded quickly.

Everyone is on the planet, investigating.

=/\=17 MAY 09 =/\=

=/\= Stardate 23855.10 =/\=

While en route to Starbase 375, the USS Algonquin (Akira Class) encountered a subspace distortion through which a battle-worn Federation starship emerged.

The USS Discovery, an Oberth class ship used for peaceful exploration before the present Federation-Romulan War, was transformed to a medical ship and is assigned to a sector of space several hundred light years from here.

Yet here she is, in her pre-war configuration.

The Federation-Romulan War? Wasn't it the Earth-Romulan War, and didn't that end in 2160?

At sim begin we are a ship of war, rigged for battle.

The Discovery has been brought along side, we have boarded, and are ready to assist in whatever way we can.

We cannot remain in this area for long since Romulan forces have been picking off Federation ships like flies.
