Hello there. Wish to have fun with new friends and I want to be a friend. Still, I want to get back into role play and I want to understand what is acceptable and unacceptable. Everyone with every single role play has standards. This is the reason that I accepted to join this message board, as you do have standards and willing to teach new members. Been with a number of role play message boards, and the message boards that did not have standards to teach new members: folds within a few months or only have a very limited amount of members.

 

 

Let me tell you what I am into. There are a number of female characters that I enjoy. First, as anyone can see I did like Ezri Dax on DS9. In my judgment, she was on the show a single season. Still in my judgment has a great deal of character development with role play than any other character on the show. True, I cannot use the name Ezri Dax as it does not work that way in role play.

 

 

The other character would be Max on Dark Angel, as I see she does have strength but she also has feelings. Even that the show was limited and was cancelled: I feel that Max still has a great deal of character development outside of the show. Just like Ezri Dax, I cannot use her in role play.

 

 

What has been my deep fantasy over the years is to have a role play friend willing to be something like my twin sister. Yes, it is weird and it has been tried before until we could not agree with our development or the role place site was so small it collapsed. What has not been done, is to start a independent role play but not to interested at this time to start a message board and find members.

 

 

As a primary character, I want to be a joined trill and looking to find a starship willing to have a different type of joined trill. Looking to find a role play with accepted written dialog with some personal conflicts to make the role play more natural: as just to write a flat storyline without interaction is a little dry.

Two things to remember: 1) Any Academy hosted by STSF N'Dak is a guaranteed suicide mission [And that's a direct quote from his signature]. 2) Never compare the GMs to Captains Bligh or Queeg if you want to get graduate sometime before the turn of the century.

Academy times are listed ET, so adjust as appropriate for your timezone. Academies are mandatory, and everyone is human. Save your character development for your Advanced Ship. Minimum graduation time is 3 Academies, but don't expect to graduate that quickly; the host teams prefer to see how are over a longer span of time. And once you are posted to your first Advanced Sim, it's strongly recommended that any ideas that go outside Trek canon be approved by your host team.

Suicide mission, I can understand as every training mission needs to come to an end. Not a bad idea, as the academies gives the person more than a single department to play the game. It is like Voyager with another REBOOT, sorry Voyager fans. The only drawback with a ship on a suicide mission, and if I am right the crew ends up dead: it would make the recruit feel that the advanced missions would be comical.

That's typical for us, though. Heck I once spent 6 or so months (real-time) in the Arc-D's brig. And got promoted.
