A Pre Mission Log...And My Intent...

A Pre Mission Log...And My Intent

Personal Log: Eagle, James, T. Lt.,Tactical Officer, U.S.S. Arcadia

Computer begin recording:.Bleep::...I have met with the command staff and are sufficiently advised of the parameters of our mission at hand. I am aware of Mr.Riley as head of this mission as well. The fact he has in the past been associated with the various entities and associations with certain shall we say rather dubious entrepreneurs here has been taken in account for the mission by the command staff I am assured of this.

I do however reserve the right as a superior officer...and when met with certain circumstances will relieve Mr.Riley if the situation requires said action. I further acknowledge the real importance of his former knowledge of and his regular negotiations with the nefarious inhabitants of the area...and the possible real up to date data they may provide...the resulting data may prove invaluable.

I do take and will insure the return of all the red team members to the ship....alive or deceased...which ever may develop in this most clandestine operation...an operation I need to reineterate is not required. The fact they have illegally gained presence on the Arcadia and have in more than one circumstance attacked, stunned and inhambered the duties of Official Star Fleet Personnel in the regular carrying out of their sworn duties will be brought to mind ...should we survive the mission set forth by Mr.Riley which by initial viewing borders on the verge of suicidal.

I am reminded the call to duty may fall well out of the normal guidelines...and may at times compromise the values one has as a firm commitment to the fleet. I am as well concerned about the limits of such an exercise meets the bottom line of the duties as Star Fleet officers are required to meet. I will cross lines if necessary to ensure the lives and well being of this away team...in all regards.

Computer end log....encode to Captain Lo Ami's eyes only...::Beep::...encoded and delivered......!
