The Manticore has been pulled through a massive spatial

displacement field to the Andromeda Galaxy. We are

investigating both our current surroundings and avenues to

take us back home. We sent teams to a habitable planet

nearby, but lost a security officer to a large flying predator. We

thought Dr. Lowen was lost as well, but she was simply taken by

the local inhabitants, the Qin to be cured of a deadly poison.

Captain Sovak is leading a detail from every department that is

on the planet in a first contact with the Qin. Jami is still in a

coma, back on Manticore, after a strong sonic burst that was

aimed at her before she left the planet. She is very near death,

but Dr. Mele and his team think that the Qin "singing" may help.
