T Minus Thirty Minutes And Counting

T Minus thirty minutes and counting

Personal log: Le Morte,Lt.,Csci,Sky Harbour Aegis...

The past few hours have been going by so fast I can hardly take the time to record a personal log. The science and medical departments have been literally going non stop to investigate and come up with realistic data as it pertains to the stowaways we have recently gotten.

The team in my department have demonstrated a high degree of professional work ethics at their best,a great team indeed. I had met with Dr.Lepage and his staff as well..needless to say he as well has some of the best staff I have ever encountered or had the pleasure to work with.

My science team has really come through as a shining example of dedication to their respective duties. The combined research and observations from both departments have culminated in some impressive data in so short of a time period. I have made out my report and summarized the findings into a full report. I have loaded said report and the findings onto my PADD and have contacted Dr.LePage.

I was advised by the good doctor apparently his department had some new additional data as well and advised he would be ready to meet in thirty minutes to discuss the findings. I must admit working with the departments has been an enjoyable first heavy duty assignment. I had closed the comm with Nick,as he prefers to be called...and had discussed the findings with my second in the science department...and the urgent need for DNA and Genome repair therapy for the patients as soon as possible, or the end results from all the collective damage to their bodies may end up in death ultimately.

I had taken the time to contact Mr.Porter our Operations officer and requested my quarters assignment, and was pleasantly surprised to have them assigned in rather short order...considering what must be going on at this moment in that CT, again another prime example of duty and working well under a stressful situation. I now see by the wall chronometer I have to meet Dr.LePage in less than 10 minutes now...perhaps after our meeting I may be enabled to move my personal belongings out of my office and into my new quarters.

I may as well see if my weekly dietary need has been completed by the good doctor as well while I am there. I remember our conversation on that very matter with a fond memory as he had brought some levity into what I am sure was a morbid if not uncomfortable discussion as perceived by others, Not he..he just took it in stride and ran with it ending up with me laughing with him for a bit. Nick demonstrates a genuine concern and an excellent bed side manner I am sure many other doctors would love to emulate.

Looking again at the clock...I have now 5 minutes to get to medical and meet with Nick and go over our combined findings...I know we are close, and I am as well aware of the Xo is waiting on our report. Perhaps when we finish we can submit that acceptable report to the Command staff.....End log...Beep.
