Welcome to STSF, Lucky! It depends when it comes to grad time. I think the usual is 3-20.

well, you have to have been to at least three academy sims, and most of the time's it is more then that. Have fun!

We need to see a player in at least three to four sims before they are graduated. However, like the other posts here, the graduating in three to four sims is really rare. It happens, but not much. Typically, you're going to find yourself in the academy "academic system" until the GMs are sure you understand:

::movement::

+communications+

<Tags for assistant engineer <AENG> and such>

And the GMs also want to see that you can interact well with other players and follow along with whatever plot is going on in the academy, even it your department isn't directly involved. If a dept is directly involved in a plot, then the GMs look to those players to help us along with the academy story line. If a player or department isn't directly involved, then we expect you to keep yourself busy without blowing something up or starting a brawl. Chain of Command is also a big tell tale sign, so don't be contacting the XO if you are an assistant medical officer to report someone has a hangnail.

And really, tripping over things to hurt yourself , exploding your console to hurt yourself/your character, and ::falling asleep at post because I am bored and wondering when the action will start:: is considered lame. Common sense plays a big part as well.

So, expect to be in the academy system until you are ready to graduate Lucky. Welcome to the site though - STSF is a nice RPG site to game on. Enjoy and have fun
