What a time to be over dressed  SD 50211.12

Hayden stood, looking into the Jeffries tube, and then cast a sheepish glance down to her attire.  The long backless black gown was going to cause her some considerable difficulty if they were forced to use the tubes to escape the transporter room.  "Well, I can at least take the shoes off," her voice trailed as she bent over to untie the high heel sandals she was wearing.  She glanced over at Staci to see her put her hand to her mouth to try and cover the smile that was evidently there.

"You know, it's Commander Pratt's fault," Hayden continued, stepping down off the first shoe and beginning to work on the second.  "He had to go and make the recall sound like some formal affair, and far be it from me to arrive under dressed."  She stepped out of the other shoe, tied the straps together and peered into the tube that the Captain had crawled in to.  "He should have taken you with him, Thomas.  An engineer might come in handy."  Thomas nodded and continued with his scans of the sealed transporter room.

She walked around the small area, trying to think of something they had missed, and rubbed the back of her neck where a small knot was forming.  A transporter accident?  It wouldn't be the first time.  A time shift of some kind?  She didn't think so, but then this headache started during the transport up from Risan Immigration Control.  She would have to think on that some more.

With Raishel gone, Samantha was the only one left with whom she had any telepathic connection too, and even those attempts had failed.  An elaborate scheme to separate them from the rest of the crew?  Possible.  She stopped pacing, looked again into the Jeffries Tube and then again down at her dress and gave Staci a lopsided smile, "yep, it's all Pratt's fault".
