01/06/10 Agincourt Mission Update:

Happy New Year! We had no Sims on 12/23/09 or 12/30/09.

TBS: Thirty Minutes

The roving away team officers gain access to an un-manned communications room. A corrupted manifest shows that the missing fourteen Romulan Warbirds were either 1.) intended for delivery and never arrived at the scrap yard facility, or 2.) taken from the facility and the manifest was tampered with an effort to erase the information.

01.14.10 Agincourt Mission Update:

Time Between Sims: 4 Hours

A system location/name was extracted from the garbled scrap yard manifest: the Ryder-Presit system, one of the seedier locations of the known galaxy. Could this be where the missing 14 Rihan warbirds were taken? The Agincourt crew intends to find out. Preparations were made as well as an inter-ship communications announcement; the exploratory warship and her crew will get underway to our new destination.

01.20.10 Agincourt Mission Update:

Time Between Sims: 2 Hours, and we will be reaching our destination at the start of next Sim.

The Agincourt continues at warp to the sector system known as Ryder-Presit, a wretched scum of hive and villiany. Wait...a scum of wretched villiany....a villianly wretched scum hive....

Anyway, the R-P system is a rough and tumble system boasting six frontier colony planets, mercenaries, tough colonists that don't like to see a uniform, pirates, and other assorted drek of the galaxy.

Will the crew be successful and track down the missing Rihan ships? Stay tuned for the adventure.

Note: Background information/plot log on the new mission: Ryder-Presit System

01.27.10 Agincourt Mission Update:

Time Between Sims: 30 Minutes, Away Teams are now deployed.

The main crew (all Players) has been split: some officers have deployed in away teams onto the planet called Ryder Minor (one of six planets within the system), others are holding position on the Agincourt, in orbit above Ryder Major. Our goal is to insert those on the outbound teams into the colony population in order to get a lead on the missing ships and who might have made the vessels disappear. Any intelligence is to then be relayed to the monitoring stations on the ship.

(OOC: Pick your own adventure folks: your choice to deploy planet side or stay on board the ship and monitor the teams and the system goings on)

Big planet. Rough and tumble frontier system. Good times.

02.03.10 to 02.10.10 Agincourt Mission Update:

TBS: 01.03.10 (Thirty Minutes) 01.10.10 (Twenty Minutes)

The ground teams continue to check out the local planet goings on, trying to get leads on the missing Rihan warbirds that we are pretty sure came in the Ryder-Presit system. The ship side Intel teams monitor the away team personnel.

A local gang called the Firebrands are a possible lead, as well as a weapons dealer by the name of Toni; random bits of wireless audio messages of questionable dealing were klepped from a local warehouse by the ships sensors and Marine comms.

02.17.10 to 03.03.10 Agincourt Mission Update:

Current TBS: Long enough for any logs/Several hours

The last few days of searching in the questionable city areas of a rough and tumble colony planet has divulged a lead of sorts: The Agincourt and her crew prepare to leave Ryder Major in search of ship dealer "Tim". He is supposedly the man of the hour when it comes down to any buying and selling of ships in the Ryder-Presit sector area.

Will we find our missing Rihan vessels, or is Tim and our lead merely another false trail? Stay tuned.

03.10.10 Agincourt Mission Update:

TBS: Two Hours, we stay on our patrol course

The Agincourt sets out on a standard search pattern to locate Mister Tim based on the Intel we have been able to gather; a senior NCO points out an asteroid field on the star maps that sports a lot of trade and cargo activity may be the place to start this current search for the missing ships.

03/17/10 Agincourt Mission Update:

BOOM!

During the search for the mysterious Tim who may or may not have a lead on the missing Rihan warbirds, the 'Court encounters a combined force of six Rihan and Breen warships that proceed to pound the tar out of the ship. The ship was breached by boarding parties.

Looks like the wild goose chase went all hellfire and brimstone. Were we lead into a trap?

BOOM!

March 16 also marked the five year anniversary of the Agincourt Sim. Congratulations!

03.24.10 Agincourt Mission Update:

TBS: 2 Days.

The skirmish ended with the 'Court managing to drive off the attacking Rihan and Breen ships; most of the boarding parties and any dead raiders were beamed off. Injuries were low, though the ship itself took a pounding.

SEC and Marine teams are sweeping the ship for any possible bodies that may have been left behind.

We aren't just sure *who* exactly boarded the 'Court: Breen or Romulans? All the soldiers wore tactical armor and full helmets.

We are proceeding to the nearest starbase for repairs and to tend to injuries.

03.21.10 Agincourt Mission Update:

TBS: 12 Hours

The Agincourt has docked at the Federation/Starfleet controlled starbase; repairs are underway. The crew has been released for shore leave.

04.07.10 Agincourt Mission Update:

TBS: 2 Weeks while repairs continue to be made to the ship

The crew enjoys shore leave at the starbase -- some more so then others -- but no one got arrested which pleases the command staff to no end.

Colonel Harper meets with the station commander for a briefing regarding the local sector concerns, and any possible orders for the Agincourt.

04.14.10

TBS: Short/Less then 1 Hour

After completing ship repairs and shore leave at the station, the USS Agincourt and her crew are assigned a new mission.

We are heading out to a sector where ships based at the station had gotten into a large altercation with the Soltans and got themselves creamed. Our orders are to initiate tow operations. Security/Marines are deployed for deck to deck patrols. Engineering, Medical, Sciences and Operations departments stand by to assist where needed. We are on Yellow Alert.

At the ending of last Sim, our sensor tracking programs picked up on three possible ships -- one Defiant, one Steamrunner, and one Kelvin class ship -- that are tow candidates.

04.21.10

TBS: 30 Minutes

The Agincourt has been dispatched to perform rescue and salvage operations at the site of a major battle between the 8th Fleet, based out of the starbase we were just at, and the Soltan. The crew sets about the task of dredging through the area and acquiring tow targets as well as possible survivors. The ship remains at Yellow Alert.

Engineering (Alpha shift) is given a mild dressing down regarding shift performance.

Medical prepares for any possible exposure to the Soltan.

Bridge officers representing SEC/TAC, Science, and Operations go about the business of acquiring tow targets and keeping watch for enemy activity.

Marine and SEC patrols are on alert.

04.28.10 Agincourt Mission Update:

TBS: Five Minutes

It is business as usual with the salvage, towing, and rescue operations until the crew encounters an issue: It would seem one of the Starfleet survivors taken on board has tested positive for the Soltan Bluing Effect.

Medical continues with the lock down quarantine procedures, the general salvage operations also continue, and most of the crew -- save for Marine and SEC patrols who are alerted through the CSEC and XO -- are currently unaware of the pending issue.

Will the virus spread across the ship? Tune in next week to find out!

05.06.10 Agincourt Mission Update:

TBS: Long enough for us to head back to the starbase (48 Hours?)

While working on the salvage and rescue operations, one of the survivors tests positive for the Soltan Blue Effect. The following moments are tense for those aware (Colonel Harper, Bridge officers working the salvage and survivor mission parameters, Medical, SEC/Marine Patrols) of the problem. Soon, a confirming test shows that it was a false positive, and "Patient 63" is not in fact turning into a Soltan.

Slick Hefner and Kid Karo, the lead patrol Marines on site during the scare, retire from their harrowing triage patrol shift.

The CMO, her lead On Site Medico, and the XO all clash regarding the quarantine procedures and who was where doing what or what they shouldn't have been doing. It is not pretty.

The Engineers continue on with maintenance, routine shift work, and dealing with any possible salvage from the battlefield that may have been taken on board.

05.12.10 Agincourt Mission Update

TBS: Three Days, with staggered shore leave rotation as well as regular duty shifts

The USS Agincourt begins to enter docking orbit at the space station. We've completed at least one stint gathering both salvage -- both personnel and equipment -- from the Soltan/Starfleet battle site.

Medical and Ops begins the pre-process of off loading any rescued personnel from the converted cargo bays that served as medical triage. Engineering handles both regular and specialized repair work. The Marines discuss tactical armor upgrades as well as the projectile weapons readiness of our crew in case of a Soltan equipment based attack.

Meanwhile, Colonel Harper has also received new orders from Command. The CSEC deals with the matter of the internal violation with regard to quarantine procedures as filed by the CMO against the XO.

05.19.10 Agincourt Mission Update:

TBS: A Few Hours

We've rec'd new marching orders: The 'Court is now attached to the 7th Fleet, and what remains of the 7th will be rendezvousing at the station and calling it home base for the time being. For now, we remain in the sector.

The final post-quarantine patients and salvaged wreckage from the Soltan battle zone have been offloaded onto the station; OPS Officer Tay handles the various communications traveling back and forth from ship to station.

Owing to a buzz among some of the NCO's and Marine officers, Colonel Harper and Lt. Colonel JoNs discuss ships business ranging from alternative training (projectile weapons and hand to hand combat employing unconventional means) to Inter-Departmental training in case the Soltans ever try any funny business and knock out our technological supplies/systems, to proposed 7th Fleet wide training maneuvers once all the ships make docking orbit.

The XO informs her CO that she plans to apologize to CMO Trenral regarding not asking for clearance to enter the quarantine trauma zone. Colonel Harper also informs her XO in kind that she never wants to see a report from CSEC Caine as to the breach of tempers in the trauma-triage area grace her desk again.

Engineering (Alpha Shift) has gotten back into the game - their repair counts and general departmental readiness are back up on the charts.

Waiting on word from the command-types regarding the proposed Marine and Inter-Dept training sessions, Karo gets in some workout time while Hefner tries to figure out how he got saddled with paperwork.

Note: The 05.26.10 Sim was cancelled.

06.02.10 Agincourt Mission Update:

TBS: One Hour

The planning for ship wide projectile weapons and combat defensive continues to move forward; the training will start with Marines and SEC, and the non-combat Departments will then be incorporated into the training roster as well.

The CENG and her senior line officer discuss what brought each of them to service on the Agincourt.

The CMO and the XO make nice; the claws did not fly and the blood did not flow.

The Bridge Officers under the direction of Colonel Harper oversee general ships operations as well as the progress of the mobilization of the 7th Fleet.

Next week, we begin full joint Fleet maneuvers.

06.09.10 Agincourt Mission Update

TBS: 30 Minutes. We'll reboot the ship to ship training simulation and go through another run with the 7th.

The gathered 7th Fleet ships begin to move into formation in order to take part in coordinated training maneuvers. We are at Yellow Alert

Any officers on Alpha Shift are concerned with overall Dept readiness during the maneuvers: Colonel Harper, Lt. Caine, Lt. Cmdr Condacin, and Ens Julio man our bridge readiness stations for the simulated battles.

Those off shift begin weapons training or general combat readiness training: Caine NPCs Spencer and Farragut get a taste of Marine weapons training, while new SEC Ensign Taelya is also indoctrinated to these combat protocols thanks to the ministrations of Private Karo Veras. GSgt Mike Hefner keeps a watch on all of the teams training in the holodecks.

Lt. Colonel JoNs begins a tour of the ship with CENG Kairi, and plans on checking in with the Departments during the Fleet drill. CMO Trenral readies the medical bay per the yellow alert, though is thankful that she will not be receiving any "real" casualties.

Lieutenant Tay is a Leaf on the Wind, working the Helm console like nobody's business.

06.16.10 Agincourt Mission Update:

TBS: 2 to 3 Days; any novice trainees will have completed their section of the projectile weapons combat training per Colonel Harper.

The joint war games continue as the 7th Fleet takes part in some much needed ship to ship simulated combat. while our internal personnel take part in some much needed combat management training.

The USS Agincourt becomes the hunter in this second run through of the simulation, taking on a simulated role as the Soltan. Noteably, the USS Huntington feels the wrath of the big exploratory warship.

Elsewhere, while the bridge crew takes part directly in the ship to ship games, Department personnel are drilled by their respective Chiefs to insure readiness. Medical, in particular, makes use of a state of the art holographic training program.

Off duty personnel (all Depts) report to the Marine NNC command area in order to be inducted into projectile weapons combat training sessions. The sessions are intended to ready all officers and crew for the possibility of having no energy based weapons or equipment to work with. Some of the trainee officers are introduced to the novice firing range, and the session promises to be thorough regardless of rank.

06.23.10 Agincourt Mission Update:

TBS: Four days, we'll already be at the Romulan shipyards per Colonel Harper.

The Colonels receive new orders: The 'Court is being pulled temporarily from the 7th Fleet operations. We are to head out to the Romulan shipyards and show the colors for the launch of a new Alliance-class Romulan vessel; the new ship is a joint venture, and sports a good bit of Federation technology in addition to the usual Romulan tech.

Meanwhile, the CMO has concerns and deals with "shoulder strain" injuries from the Departmental cross training; the Medical doctor questions the GSGT DI regarding the training.

06.30.10 Agincourt Mission Update:

TBS: Three Hours

The USS Agincourt has arrived at the Romulan shipyards (Teros Minor) per orders from Fleet Admiral Jarvis; we are escorting the Alliance as the joint Rihan-Federation vessel is put through her paces on a shakedown cruise. So far, the Romulan crew of the Alliance and the crew of the Agincourt are playing nice on the galactic playground.

Welcome and thank you to guest NPCing stars: Laehval tTemarr and NDak.

PS: I totally think we should have the 'Court buzz the bridge of the Alliance...I'm just saying...it'll be fun...

07.07.10 to 07.14.10 Agincourt Mission Update

07.07.10 TBS: 3 Hours

07.14.10 TBS: 30 to 45 minutes

An away team consisting of Mattingly (NPC), Karo, JoNs, Taelya, Murray, and Kairi beamed over to the Alliance in order to partake in a tour of the joint Federation-Romulan vessel. There were some inter-species tensions, but the touring officers as well as their hosts behaved themselves for the most part.

The Alliance is, how shall we say, completely blinged out with all the current technological toys. An AQS warp drive system, state of the art Medical and EMH capability, a bridge that offers a full 360 tactical view.

Meanwhile, the line officers who remained on the Agincourt minded the bridge as well as the Marine NNC operations.

Per Colonel Harper: Next Sim, the away team has arrived back on board the 'Court, while the Alliance prepares for speed tests.

07.21.10 - No Sim

07.28.10 Agincourt Mission Update:

TBS: 10 Minutes

The test trials continue as the joint Rihan/Federation Alliance is put through her paces by Rihan ships master Eveik and his engineering team and ships staff. The USS Agincourt continues her monitoring duties and joint support assignment with regard to the newborn ship.

The trials seem to be going well, with some showing off as the Alliance hits 9.99, and the Agincourt maintaining a shadow speed of 9.98. Problems literally blow over the testing when a massive explosion ripples across the Alliance during the time/warp trial; the shiny new ship drops out of warp like a rock and the starboard side is severely crippled as a result of the boom-age.

The ‘Court offers aid to the crippled ship, and said aid is accepted by ships master Eveik; the damaged vessel is tractored in a protective tether beam launched by the Starfleet ship, and our engineering and medical teams are mobilized.

Currently, the crews are unaware if the Alliance explosion was external, such as a covert attack, or internal, such as a problem with the AQS singularity field.

08.04.10 Agincourt Mission Update

TBS: 20 minutes

The situation is still critical regarding the test trial explosion that rocked the Alliance.

Agincourt Engineering (Kairi, Murray, Karrigan) and Medical (Trenral, NPC Vaughn) away teams were unleashed to assist and help with the damage and injuries. Engineering teams find that Dheno -- Security -- officers from the Rihan contingent are already investigating the starboard area where the explosion occured; Trenral deals with several ciritical injury cases included ch'Maelic, the CENG of the Alliance.

Bridge officers on duty (Harper, Tay, Caine) coordinate and track efforts among the teams as best they can; Security Officers (Caine, Taelya) coordinate NPC SECs where needed.

The Marines (JoNs, Karo, Hefner) check out some non-classified Alliance specs in the NNC holodeck; traditional (Engineering, AUX Control) and non-traditional (Bridge, Medical, Security) entry point efforts are discussed in case a combat breach/situation against the Alliance would be necessary for whatever reason.

Special thanks to Rihan guest stars NDak and Laehval tTemarr, who are playing most of the Rihan crew's senior officers during this adventure.

08.11.10 to 08.25.10

It never rains, but it pours...everyone have an umbrella? Good.

The explosion impact that rattled the Alliance appears to have been a photon torpedo; the Agincourt crew was blamed for the incident, and away teams (Engineering and Medical) assisting with repairs and medical on the Alliance were arrested. Their release was negotiated, though now the 'Court has many Romulan 'observers' overseeing the day to day operations on the Federation ship as the incident is continually investigated.

Scans taken from the time of the incident/actual impact are also showing a spike in subspace activity, and subspace vacuole theories are being discussed among the scrambling Starfleet officers.
