Fighting Fire With Fire

 

Personal Log: Eagle,James,T., Lt., Tactical officer U.S.S. Arcadia

 

The planes and their contrails were streaking overhead as Eagle and Kat made their way to the water tower indicated on the map from Krankies office. I am convinced the tower is a small hiding /storage place for the drugged cigars and cigarettes used here to keep the slave labor and forced guards in line.

 

Looking up I observed the direction of the planes had changed from the previous direction we had seen them earlier...looking at the map I estimate them to be on an easterly heading ,Following along the map another red circled area appears to be inline on that bearing. Climbing the ladder attached to the tower and tank I can see around the camp from a better vantage point. I rapped on the tank hard...an echo was noted, Hollow I bet...all the better to make my suspicion a reality.

 

The team sent to bring back Mr.Ripley should be back soon,Sam should be through with gathering as much tech from the camp as she could find,Doug and Thoros should be back soon with some kind of communication devices or equipment they could find. The team when gathered back shall begin the next phase of the plan I have formulated.

 

The sounds of the popping, Strafing and bombing if you ask me...in the distance seems to have subsided a bit. That can mean one of about half dozen possibilities that come to mind...The people here on this planet have began to attempt raiding the storage areas of the drugs,two,their attempts were met with force,three,the ones if my suspicions are correct that have been involved in this from the beginning are getting restless in their dealings with the petty dictator in place here.

 

The way things are working may actually improve our chances of pulling off what I have in mind until the return of the Captain and Arcadia. It appears a small force of ones rebelling has begun...that may enable us to carry on our mission as discreetly as is possible,Both aiding the populace here,And subsequently the Federation. :)
