Background:

 

AJ "Adrian Jameson" was born on SD 8411.22 on the independent cargo ship "Venture", owned by his parents. He was always a rambunctious and active child, who loved being in space all the time. Being such a "free spirit", as some might say, it was a shock to his parents when he announced that he had applied and been accepted to the Academy. His parents did not whole-heartedly approve of his decision to join Starfleet, but encouraged him to do what he thought was best.

 

AJ did well in his Security courses at the Academy, also becoming proficient at flying a number of light air/spacecraft. Though his lack of social skills and behavior, having grown up almost entirely on the Venture with few people, caused a few problems, he overcame them and graduated in the top third of his class at the Academy.

 

Ensign Grafton was almost immediately assigned to the Security section on McKinley Station, and spent 2 years there, until the Soltan attack on Earth. During the ensuing chaos and reorganization, AJ was re-assigned to the USS Agincourt.
