After raiding Tibus VI, the late Consul General Melville's secret base, the Manticore has retrieved enough evidence to cast grave doubt on the Commodore's motives in Melville's death. Former Consul General Jaffe has secured Atragon's release and his reinstatement to the command of Manticore. "Officially," however, the Fleet will always think that A9 played a terrible role in the death - as does Atragon and the crew.
