Squeakies Iz here

Squeakies ... ahem... sorry if mez "squeaks" bother anyone. Just a quirk that Iz picked up to Identify mez to everyone :)

As you all can see I'm new here. And how Iz got here.... well... to make a long story short... Iz turned left, instead of turning right at that little light in the sky *points to a random star (of your choice.) :D Actually ... I ran a search and yours was on the top.

Iz am a experienced Roleplayer or Simmer ...Depends on what term yooz all use here.

From table top ADnD to online chat to forum type of simming. E-mail sims... ;) no friggen way. I get enough junk email as is. fairly well versed in startrek univere from TOS, TNG, DS9, Voyager, Enterprise.

Simmed just about every position from engineering, security, marine, spec-ops, intelligence, medical, science, operations. From Cadet to Commander, Bartender, Colonist, Pirate, Civilian Frieghter Cptn/Owner.

Yes I do play the odd character ... Humans .. well .. I guess they are acceptable and have their uses.

yes I wear clothes and iz not prey... unless yooz can eat steel, entering through yooz body, not the mouth.

On a more friendly note... where do iz need to look for sim times? and can I connect through Mirc? any forum sims?

::clears throat::

Welcome!

Two things to remember: 1) Any Academy hosted by STSF N'Dak is a guaranteed suicide mission [And that's a direct quote from his signature]. 2) Never compare the GMs to Captains Bligh or Queeg if you want to get graduate sometime before the turn of the century.

That being said, I'd recommend reading: How to sim, as well as: Tips from the Moose

For all your technobabble needs, visit Memory Alpha or Ex Astris Scientia.

Academy times are listed ET (on the main page above the advanced sims), so adjust as appropriate for your timezone. Academies are mandatory, and everyone is human. Save character development for your Advanced Ship. Minimum graduation time is 3 Academies, but don't expect to graduate that quickly; the host teams prefer to see how are over a longer span of time. And once you are posted to your first Advanced Sim, it's strongly recommended that any ideas that go outside Trek canon be approved by your host team.

The Schedule is posted here... There are links to the schedule at the top of the web chat room page and front page. As will says, watch the time zone.

We don't do much of anything through Mirc. These forums and the web based chat rooms dominate our access.

While a lot of ships have fairly active 'logs' forums, I don't thing there are any pure forum format sims? Someone might correct me if I'm wrong.

And, again, welcome aboard. Don't believe that everyone here is cat or bat themed. The first thought, when most of us encounter a rodent, isn't to ask 'edible?'

We androids, for example...

Haha. So I was in the middle of debating with myself over commenting on all the Z's and dare I say...ebonics...maybe? in your first post. And then you posted that last one, which totally killed my plan.

It's good to have you aboard! Hope to see you in the sims :D
