Mere minutes appear to all the times we have to find a way out of this fiasco that on the surface points to our being at the undesirable position of being accused of espionage and murder. We being the team that were sent to the surface of the planet on a recon mission. The mission had proceeded better than any of us had hoped for until the individual known to us as Ken, The professed leader of a Freedom resistance force was killed while in transit beaming to our shuttle.

 

The military police force of that planet not only intercepted the shuttle but were actually able to track the shuttle...And we were cloaked, Literally invisible to any of the planets military force or should have been . The accounts relayed to me by others of the team confirmed we were en route to the Arcadia when we were Fired upon and a tractor beam had locked on to us. Impossible ..unless you have a way to track a ship in full cloak with a transponder/range finder.

 

The following accounts are on record as relayed by the other team members as it pertains to being drawn into the bay of one of our attackers. The subsequent action that occurred resulting in the destruction of the shuttle and damage to one of their own ships. The question of how they tracked us was a constant one on my mind as well as why?. I have downloaded the data from my encounter with Ken in the hidden underground control center, After viewing the data again the pieces are starting to fall into place as well as I can see them.

 

Apparently the device I had ordered to be retrieved from our dead guest has been a great source of data to begin the discovery process to get to the bottom of this and why we may be implicated in this very convenient and embarrassing situation as it is sure to be viewed by the other guest that have been invited to this place.

 

The answer is obvious..we were all being setup to be in this precarious position in my opinion to give another of our invitees to this little dog and pony show a definite diplomatic and possibly strategic advantage over the UFP. The one thing the other parties may not know is what was discovered deep within those caverns and the archival data that was on data banks. This may well play to our favor as well bring to light why so much carefully planned subterfuge was brought to bear.

 

The team as well as the command staff has been considering what does this until recently advanced race have to offer to any other of the major races and space faring beings that would result in the way this society and technological advances they apparently seem to have gotten from the assorted invitees present. The data may just indicate the reason if I am correct in the data interpretation.

The whole intricate web of deceit makes perfect sense when you look at it in the cool light of reason. What better way to remove Star Fleet out of your hair to be in the enviable position of not only a crucial crossroads in this sector...As well be in possession or unlimited access to ancient technology that in comparison may literally dwarf the technology most operate on even in this time. The ending result might change the balance of power in not only this quadrant, Perhaps the entire way of life we have all known.
