I left Lt.s V'Roy and Arch Angel in the hangar bay pouring over the shuttle's flight log. The two of them filled me in on some of the odd time shifts that happened to the ship while the away team was on the planet's surface. Kinda makes me glad I'm just an ensign. Not that I'm not curious about what's going on and I'll help in any way that I can, but it's not my neck in the noose. That's why command officers make the big bucks!

 

 

I finally got that shower that I've been itching for (literally!). And my bed never felt so good. My gear bag is still in the corner where I left it…probably should unpack while I've got the chance. Things so far have been really weird. It was great to get out for a while on the away mission, even if it was a complete waste of time. Absolutely nothing on the planet to get excited about. But to hear what's been happening on the ship, I mean complete opposite ends of the spectrum of weird.

 

 

I ordered a sandwich from the replicator because I was too tired to even go up to the mess hall. Think I'll leave unpacking for later. Sleep sounds like just what the doctor ordered…or probably would order if she weren't completely unaware of my existence.
