chat pm problems

evening stsf i was wondering if anyone has been having troubles with the pm windows i cant recive pms from gms or anyone but yet i can send to if someone can tell me that would be great thanks

I would first suggest that when you get into the chat rooms next time, right click where all of the chat comes up in the room and make sure that "Ignore IM's" is not checked. If it is, click on that and that should solve your problem.

I have had the same problem recently doug. I can receive and respond to received, but I cannot click a name and type in the IM box to start a PM.

but see the thing is i can send pms but can get any back

Doug is using Vista + IE7 + Sun Java. The problem was probably caused by something nasty in IE7 (or one of its settings), and was solved by running the chat window under Firefox.

i havent been having any problems im not sure why you cant recieve pm's
