Personal Log Stardate 50305.23

“batlh Daqawlu’taH”

 

Garnoopy growled, and removed the batleh’ from its stand in his quarters. He carefully swung it around a few times, and then carefully placed it in its spot in the bag of items, along with the rest of the items that had previously been in his quarters. The bag was sealed, and then picked up, to be carried with him.

 

He stepped out of the quarters, no longer his, and walked forward down the hall. His massive Klingon frame drawing looks as it usually did, his face the usual stone set glower look.

 

The turbolift doors slid open, as they always had, and Garnoopy spoke, “meH”. Despite that it was a Federation ship, the turbolift instantly responded, taking him upwards to the bridge.

 

He stepped out, and looked around. People as usual continued to work at their stations. Garnoopy took in the sites, and then turned, and stepped back into the turbolift.

 

“Duj” he barked, and the turbolift once again responded, taking him downwards.

 

The doors slide open, and Garnoopy stepped out of the turbolift. He moved forward down the hall, walking at a steady pace, his bag slung over his shoulder.

 

Stepping into the shuttle bay, he moved across, noting the work being done to one shuttle. His was already prepped for departure. An Ensign sat inside, waiting for him. The Ensign would take him to the nearest starbase at warp, and then return with the shuttle for the Reaent. Garnoopy would not be returning.

 

“I am ready,” he stated simply, and the shuttle door closed.

 

The small shuttle left the ship, and Garnoopy looked out the window to see the Reaent, and watched as they went to warp.

 

“Hegh batlh Reaent” were the last words he uttered before the visual sight of the Reaent disappeared.
