Engineers Personal Log: Hilee,Richard,B.,Ens.

Computer Begin Log:..Beep....

The past few days have been somewhat routine. Two days ago the day started out in the usual manner. I found myself in Meng at my work bench going over the results of the spectra scopic scans performed on the pieces of the modules retrieved from the console in sick bay.

The results actually do look promising from both an engineers perspective as well as possibly having possible medical applications as well. The Admiral and his unfortunate encounter with the entity may have been a future blessing in disguise. Commander Garnoopy contacted me and assigned me to assist Lt.Commander Faldek in shuttle bay #2, I gathered my tool kit and personal bag as well. I headed for the shuttle bay post haste with no explanation as what was needing done. There are times when you simply must follow orders and soldier on .Being prepared is just as important as following orders:That as of late seems to be more the expected norm than an elective on this lady.

The resulting duty was an easy assignment in the entirety. The duty was simply to give Chimera a thorough diagnostic, Fix any repairs as needed and issue a green return to duty status report. The latter was no problem in fact for the Chimera checked out fully with very small adjustments in the crafts basic routines. Commander Faldek appeared to be genuinely impressed by the diagnostic program ran and the speed it did so in comparison to the Manticores standard computer diagnostic routine.

Placing my PADD back into my little bag of special tools I had managed to engineer and make over the past few months for certain applications, Watching and listening to the other officer as he had commed to my fellow engineer Lt.Jg. Doug, As well as Commander Garnoopy I asked him if I might join the detail to assist Doug with a possible problem gaining access to a Holodeck. Upon arriving at the door of the Holodeck and listening to both Doug, And the commander a simple solution presented itself. Pulling a few jumper cables and my PADD from my bag, Handing Doug one cable to hold for a moment I attached the other lead cable to the access port to the doors control, And then taking the other lead cable and grounding it through the access plate ,tapping in a few bypass codes..the door opened. No Aliens with dark designs on the ship and crew appeared to devour us. There did appear to be a PADD probably left by the Binars still attached to the port access. The door sensor would have to be replaced of course but that appears to be all the damage.

Packing up my gear once again I asked to be returned to duty in Meng for there are repairs aplenty for all of us there to be engaged in. Entering back into Meng the remaining part of the day was spent on the repairs assigned by Commander Garnoopy. Yesterday morning I arose early as usual and ate breakfast,A quick cup of Scottish coffee..pouring one to go as well . Finished with breakfast, showering, and dressing I made the short jaunt to the TL and onto Meng..post briefing and day assignments the day went pretty well with little or no significant repair problems encountered . That being stated upon review of the Commanders list of assignments it appears rising early does have it's benefits. Dawn is the friend of the Muses indeed for I have almost finished my assigned repair duties. Computer..End Log: Beep.. :D
