Early Wedding Gift

Angel and Schawnsee made their way to Red Star Lounge for Schawnsee's weekly gig as a keyboardist in the band. As they moved close to the door, KBear turns on the open sign and calls out, "COME ON IN Folks!! Welcome to Red Star Lounge." KBear then turns after waving to those entering and walks to the bar to get ready for the on flux of customers.

As KBear waves and turns to go back inside, the two hear a familar voice come from behind them. It was Eagle, Schawnsee's Band partner as well as Angel's cousin. "Hi KBear, Hey Schawnsee, Well well look who else is here. Welcome Cousin."

The three walks in the lounge and up to the bar where KBear is standing there waiting for them. "What will you all have tonight?"

Schawnsee is the first to walk up to the bar, "Hi KBear, May I have a unsweet tea Please?"

KBear quickly looks up from the drink she was fixing for another patron with a semi shocked look on her face and replied, "Unsweet? This is new."

"Yes Maam, watching my weight since I'm getting married."

KBear smiles and replies, "I heard that Congrats Gal." She then draws the tea from the thermos and hands it to Schawnsee.

As Schawnsee thanks KBear, Angel wraps his arms around her and looks to KBear, "I'll have the same as she has sir."

KBear hands Angel his tea "And this must be the lucky guy. Welcome to Red Star Lounge."

"Yes sir I am lucky to have a girl like Kat. How much for the drinks?"

"All first drinks are on the house. I found that many like this policy and it helps bring in the business." She looks up and sees Eagle behind them all. "What for you tonight Mr Eagle?"

Eagle smiles and answers, "A SST for me please KBear. You know how I like them."

KBear starts making the SST for Eagle, "That I do my friend." She then slides the drink acrossed the bar to Him. "I need to speak to the three of you, And Yes Eagle I want you to hear what I have to say as well.

Eagle accepts the drink. "Aye I'll turn on the suto music for tonight then." He then goes to the stage and presses the button for the auto play system for the music.

STSF_KBear -> Schawnsee and Eagle come here a moment

Schawnsee and Angel look at eachother and then watch Eagle as he starts the auto play. Eagle then looks at Schawnsee. "Ok,lets go." He motions for Kat and Angel to follow KBear over to a booth.

Schawnsee whispers back to Angel, "I wander what Kbear wants us for Did we do something wrong??"

Angel places an arm around Kats shoulder as they follow, "I have no idea my love I certainly dont remember us doing anything wrong."

"At least she doesnt look mad." Kat says as they get to the booth.

Eagle being behind them and hearing their discussion snarkels a bit, "yeah right Cousin..Angelic is always right??" Angel looks back to Eagle and just winks.

" Why no dear, she does not appear mad in the least. She actually looks like she has that mischievous look on her face." Angel replies as the three of them have a seat.

KBear finishes up with her costumers at the bar. " If you will excuse me for a moment I have a surprise for the future couple over there," she says as whe points to Angel and Schawnsee.

Back at the table, Schawnsee looks up seeing KBear pointing towards them. "I just wish I knew what she wanted, She has me worrried. I didnt make it last week Im hoping shes not upset about that.

Angel looks up to where Schawnsee is looking and Sees Kbear approaching. "Well love it appears we are about to find out."

KBear makes her way over to where Schawnsee and the others are sitting. She has a diffenate grin on her face. "OK Folks I have a surprise for you. A early wedding gift of sorts, That is with Eagle's approval." Eagle sat there grinning from ear to ear and nodded hia aproval for KBear to continue. "OK What I want to propose is that You two have your reception here at Red Star. On me, Schawnsee you've been a band member here for over 2 years, You like family. I cant think of a better wedding gift to give to a family member."

Kat's eyes lit up like a christmas tree. "Really? Have our reception here? You mean it sir?" She looks around the table in shock and in her excitement asks her finace, "Angel did you hear that?" even though he was right there ans heard every word.

Angel gets a chuckle I surely did Schawnsee...::looking at KBear and Eagle::

KBear lets out a chuckle herself at the sound of excitment in Kats voice. "Yes Schawnsee I mean it. Hang on and you two talk it over a minute I have a bar to tend." KBear stands and makes her way to the bar allow in the couple to discuss the idea.

Eagle looks at the two as the discuss the matter and then interrupts. "Well you two I actually wanted to try and talk you into having the whole occasion here. All of it."

Angel looks to his cousin, "But that might be terribly expensive Eagle. Thats too much to ask."

Eagle chuckles a bit and replies, "Expense is not even in the equation cousin. I am part owner here, And KBear seems to be open to the suggestion.So Angel,what do you think have it all here..and on us as a present to you both??"

Schawnsee speaks up. "Angel? Do you think the Captain will go for it. I mean us having our wedding and reception here?? Eagle I cant beleive KBear is doing that. I can let her do it. Thats just to much to even think about allowing her to give up."

"I cannot speak for the CO Schawnsee, but I dont forsee any problems." Angel replies. "Hmm..well it does have merit."

Eagle sees the perplexed look on Schawnsee's face. "I assure you "We" can afford it." He grins and speaks up again. " It's just up to you two to decide."

Schawnsee -> what do you thinks Angel?

Angel thought for a moment placing his fingers to his chin rubbing it gently. "I think that would actually be better Schawnsee. Less distance, and I know Mr.Smith will work close with KBear and Eagle."

Angel looks at Eagle and takes Schawnsee's hand in his, "Well cousin pending the CO's approval on doing the ceremony, looks like a wedding to be had here as well as the reception."

KBear makes her way back to the threesome unnoticed. Then she speaks up. "OK Folks what will it be? Do we have a reception to being planning?"

Schawnsee looks to Eagle and Angel for their approval to do the talking. "It looks like with the captain permission we will hold both the wedding and the reception here."

KBear claps her hands together then rubs them vigorously, "THATS GREAT!!! Ill announce it once you get approval from your CO. We will invite your entire vessle as well as everyone that come to the bar regularly.

Angel stands and offers his hand. "Thank you again so much KBear," He turns looking to his cousin as well. "You too Eagle. We can't thank you enough for all this."

Schawnsee takes Eagles lead and stands also. "Yes. Thanks Eagle and KBear I dont know what to say."

Angel looks at Schawnsee and pulls her close. "Its Great to have family and friends like these two and Aaron as well lets not forget, He is my best man after all."

They all sit back down and begin talking about the couples idea for flowers and all of the other things still needing to be considered and completed.
