Not A Whimper...A Bang

Not A Whimper..A Bang

Tactical Officers Log: Eagle,James,T.,Lt.Jg.

Computer Begin recording: Bleep..Was the response.

The stage is set..the Arcadia is about to embark on another venture that will in all hopes serve two functions. The first function to make a way to get the Romulans Battle cruisers to follow us back towards the void, detonate a device that should take the both of us back into our Universe ,As well as the Romulans with us. The second function ...yes that one may be a bit troublesome at best, Possibly destructive to an entire sector of space including this ship in the attempt to close the portal the Romulans seem to have been able to pass to and fro at will.

I have been attempting to go over and retrieve the data the first probe had gotten and downloaded prior to our being sucked into that damnable black void. The Romulans were apparently better prepared to do so and pass straight through unfettered. The one plausible answer must lay within their shielding frequencies and modulations. I am at this time going over the data as well as the device , The monster that lies buried deep in the bowels of this ship asleep..waiting to be awakened.

The time is growing short as we all set about our collective duties on this mission most grave. The data from the files on the device do indicate it should be well capable of doing the task we seek to do. The question that concerns me now is should we awaken this slumbering beast, I am afraid the wrath of this giant will be great indeed.

The chronometer seems to be clicking off in a hurried pace, As if beckoning us onward once more to glorious strife. Computer End Log:...Bleep... :D
