Duck And Run

 

Personal Log: Eagle,James,T.,Lt.Jg., Computer begin log::...Beep..

 

After arriving at Star base# 113 to find yet another Booby Trap we were joined by the ship from this version of the Federation fleet the U.S.S. AAA. Daena and Tom were pulled at the last possible instant from the base, Unfortunately there were once again injuries to both from an explosion in their close proximity.

 

Commander Lo Ami joined by Commander Alces have been attempting to cloud or at the very least hide the difference between the Arcadia of this Universe and this one. I hope the other hulk of an Arcadia has not been discovered,floating around that planet we left in a pursuit to find and intercept a Romulan ship we had encountered before. The other U.S.S Arcadia ,were it to be found by another fleet vessel,and reported I am afraid our little attempt to disguise and pass ourselves off as it would be a null point.

 

I had attempted to suggest to the Commanders the logic of at least attempting to help in the upgrading and relaying the data on the Romulans from our Universe to them and possibly doing so gain a few allies in the process. The fact still remains we have two Romulan Battle wagons here,In this present and now. The fact still remains they appear to be going about their business of plundering,killing,taking what ever they seem to looking for. The fact remains whether it be a question of resource's;Natural or otherwise they are proceeding seemingly unfettered.

 

The sheer presence of us here does in some way possibly ,And has altered the natural progression of this Universe, Not to mention the Romulans. I cannot help thinking of the remark made by Commander Alces on that matter. I maintain our help and information would not interfere with natural progression here. The thought occurs to me that instead the intervention at a timely junction may actually help to balance the scales back.

 

The Triple A is obviously getting a bit suspicious right now,As per their last comm with the Commander. The question still remains do we at least in a limited way help here and now, Or just duck and run to conceal ourselves from their gaining knowledge of our technology?. I for one am of the opinion should we run..the suspicions of this fleet will only grow worse or even invite an attack. We have two large enemies here already, Do we by inaction invite more,or even make it easier for the Romulans from our Universe to go and come as they see fit. The final point being this fleet appears to be a much more peaceful fleet, As is appears to be the majority of the various species here. That being said; Whether in our Universe or this one, We are still Star Fleet and owe it to the Fleet to assist and defend when necessary. To do less smacks of treason and desertion under fire.
