FLowers and arrangements

Kat was sitting at the table with the bridal bouque of flowers that Deb had given her. They were beatuiful. She looked at Angel and grinned. "This was a shock. You know they normally toss the bouque into a crowd of unwed women." She looked back at the flowers gently rubbing them with her fingers tips. " She said if we needed flowers or food to talk to Mr Smith. Hes the one that helped her I guess."

 

Sitting back in the booth a bit, Angel replies, "Yes the boquet is very nice. That being said Debbie did give them to an unwed woman, at least for the moment. I agree with her advise on Mr.Smith." He grins and continues, "just hope he's up for another wedding."

 

Kat grins and giggles a bit. "This is true, and as far as Mr Smith, I think he rather enjoyed it. At least he seemed to be enjoying himself at the dinner." Kat then changes the subject more to their own wedding as the waiter came to refill their mugs once again. "So we have the site, the attire and the Ceremony, Do you have any thought about the floral or decorcations?" Kat then picks up the steaming cup of coffee and gently takes a sip.

 

Sipping on the fresh java, he places the mug down. "I suppose a combination of what is to be expected by tradition. The rest, my love, I think should be of your choosing. After all, it is your special day as well as mine, of course. I just want this day to be one that you will never forget. Special to the both of us with a lifetime of memories. As far as flowers, if you really want my oopinion, I think a lot of the Heather and Lillies of the valley might be a nice touch and your favorite blends of flowers would be great. As for the food and beverages, pretty standard but as Debbie and the Commander did we need to make sure there is plenty of real scotch as well as other alchol, not synthahol at the recption. Remember the wing will be there as well as our family guest."

 

"The wing? " Kat askes puzzled at the remark. She didn't mind the boose except the drunkenness that some find themselves in after the party. " As for the Liquor, I'll ask the Medical bring a munch of Detox for afterwards."

 

Angel grins then explains. "The wing was a reference to our fighter wing on the Reaent dear. I know all too well as you do those guys can put it away. Not to mention the Engineering staff. Oh, I have heard from my Cousin by the way, did you ever meet Eagle? I think I mentioned him before, at any rate he said in communicae that he and KBear were possibly planning something special. He said he would get back with me on it. He did say hold off on the receiption until he did get back to us. What ever that meant. I do think the menu will need to be selected from a list to please all in attendance. What are your thoughts?"

 

Kat giggled a bit. "I know Eagle Hun, We play in the band together whenever I'm in the area at the Red Star Lounge. I was wondering what he was talking to Kbear about when I walked in the last time. They got real quiet and looked at me and smiled. I guess the words out. I Know it is to the normal folks at Red Star. He announced it one night after we stopped playing. I think he was seeing if I would be imbarrassed or not. Only thing that Imbarrassed me was the fact that Folks there knew before some of our friends." Kat lifted her cup taking a drink and returned it to its spot on the table.

 

Blushing a bit at his cousins doings he looks to her and smiles once more. "That's right almost forgot the band and you playing there. I suppose I am to blame on the announcment. He must have been notified through the family after my comm to the Elders. At any rate, knowing he and KBear there is no telling what those two are planning. Whatever it is though, you can rest assured it will be of grand proportions and on a huge scale. The musician part of my cousin leads me to beleive that to be fact. As well as KBears perchant for a well planned event. I did talk with Zafira as well and he assured me not to worry about the Grooms entourage and their dress by the way. V'Roy had expressed his desire or reluctance to wear a kilt. Apparently Zafira has changed his mind. I certainly hope he finally got through that thick Vulcan skull he is my friend as well and will be standing with me. The rest is purely semantics I suppose. Oh Zafira did say he was probably going to assign V'Roy the duty of being in charge of the "Highlanders" guard in the ceremonies. I agree if he will apply that stoic Vulcan talent he has, none would be suited better. Besides I want a picture of him in a Kilt and full pomp and circumstance attire." Angel chuckles at the thought.

 

Kat snickers as well, "I know what you mean there. I wouldn't mind seeing it for myself. I just hope he goes through with it. As far as the flowers, Ill be talking to Mr Smith and see if he knows where he can get them." Kat fingers the pedals of the bouquet once more and looks back to Angel. " He managed to get nice looking ones for Deb. I think he will do me tha same honor."

 

Looking at the expression on her face, "Ah I am sure little one, however I feel I already have the most precious blossom in the Galaxy." He leans over and tenderly kissing her. "I do think you should discuss the floral decorations with Mr. Smith as well as my mother and the family. That may make them feel needed as well. I will be consulting with Zafira about a few things he mentioned on the subject of having the ability to accquire certain hard to find items as well. You know he is a good egg. My boss and my best man as well.

 

"I agree, I met him and spoke with him shortly. He does seem to be a good fellow. As far as the food goes, I wonder how much KBear would charge us for catering. The food there is wonderful. You know the Gorns can cook really well. Their Chili is to die for. At least that's what your cousin likes to get. Either that or the buffalo tounge burger. What do you think, Should I Ask her when I go back to the lounge to play?

Do you this she will like the idea?" Kat actually has a gleam in her eyes and seems to be excited about all this now.

 

Angel begins smiling while he's looking at the glee in her eyes. "I think that is a capital idea my love. Of course knowing KBear chili and Buffalo tounge burgers will not be the only food items on the menu. By all means do speak with her. In the mean time, I think I'll give Eagle a comm too. Well my love I think we should call it a night. " At that statement they both stand and he wraps his arms aroundr her holding her close.

 

"It has been a log day." Kat says as she stands next to Angel and smiles as she feels him place his arm around her, drawing her close. "Debbie and the Commander had a beautiful wedding didn't they. I hope ours is just as nice."

 

"Oh I am sure with all the ones involved it certainly will be a wedding and event to remember my love." He turns her around to face him and kisses her gently.
