Guest Laarell

"The Hangover from Hell"

Hangover. From Hell.

From Hell, yes, just like the... creature who was the cause of it. Ugh.

Laarell rolled over, weakly punching the pillow as the world -- and her stomach flipflopped. Yeah, she'd had too much to drink. Yeah, she had been pushing Victria's buttons -- and deciding that the vampire was her new best friend. She knew she shouldn't have talked the Horta out of going to the party...

Hmmph. And where was the Trill in shining armor? Oh, that's right, probably watching and enjoying it.

She shook her head a little bit, sitting up despite the lurch in her stomach and flash of pain behind her eyes.

Victria. Had. Bitten. Her.

Were there charges she could press? Oh, wait... she'd invited it... damn. So probably... no. Not that she would anyway, but...

Oh, hells, what a headache.

Laarell replicated a little pack of ice, strong, sweet tea, and approached her console, signing herself for Gamma shift instead of Alpha. The joys of running the department -- one could set her own hours, at least when Imminent Peril wasn't at hand.

Flopping -- carefully! -- back on the bed, Laarell called the lights to dim, burying her eyes in the pillow, distracting herself from the nausea and headache with wild, happy thoughts of stakes, garlic, strong sunlight, silver crosses, and decapitation.

Don't they say that the best cure for a hangover is more of the same?

::evil grin::
