I’m sorry it’s been so long since I last wrote to you, but the Arcadia has been hectic.  As your father was so fond of saying, Ranko, “The life of a martial artist is fraught with peril”, it’s even more so when you are a Starfleet officer.  Especially when you’re going after slavers.  And after something that happened to me on the mission, it’s made me reevaluate my life.  Something happened during the last mission, something that made me wake up and smell the coffee.  I hate my father for the hell he put me through, accepting both betrothals as valid, so…on my next leave, we’re going to make it official.  I hate doing this, asking via email, since what I have to ask is important.  But, since I’m not there, this is, unfortunately, the next best thing.  

 

Ranko, Xian Pu, will you both marry me, and be co-wives?

Well, so much for on one knee, flowers in hand, with a ring.

 

If they are willing to accept an email proposal, then I'd be willing to bet they'll agree to being co-wives.

 

Now to figure out the sleeping arrangements, who gives the brides away, in what order, how many bridesmaids, how many groomsmen (since there is only one groom and 2 brides, does that mean twice as many bridesmaids as groomsmen?), wedding cakes, caterers...

 

Oh the nightmare!!!
