"Voids, Stars, Insane Commander"......

Voids,Stars,Insane Commander,And The Needs Of The Many...

Tactical Officers Log : Eagle, James,T.,Ens. N.C.C.1742 -E, U.S.S. Arcadia

Computer begin recording:..Beep,Whir,beep..

This ships company and crew have just been through a waking living nightmare. I can without a reasonable doubt attest to the bravery and courage;dedication of the Arcadias crew. The XO has been for lack of a better term; recaptured and being detained in sick bay in Isolation room #1 to treat and observe his vitals and brain functions.

Commander Lo Ami had apparently been taken over by another unknown brainwave an act that led to his abberant behavior and subsequent actions. The actions that almost wrought the death of our Counselor, The destruction of the CO's quarters not to mention her extensive collection of fine foot wear. The Commander successfully kept at bay any and all capture attempts for a short period of time at least. Were it not for the timely intervention of Commander Alces, Along with Lt.Cmdr. Westler the outcome may have been different.

Daena was knocked out by the gassing of the Commander when she was in close proximity to him at his last stop of wanton destruction. Daena had previously recorded an incident of a spacial distortion in, or around Captain Dacotahs quarters around the time the XO had began his assault on her quarters.

The data on her tricorder has been retrieved by Lt.Cmdr. Marx our Security head,And brother to the CO. I have seen this type of spacial distortion before;the energy print matches the energy/spacial distortion recorded when the CO's "Friend" Baran popped onto our bridge prior to this horrid event unfolding.

The CO has been confirmed to not be onboard the Arcadia, It is my educated opinion she has been taken by Baran. Commander Alces did state to me personally Baran has the ability to move in/through time and space at will. I can only hope he has taken our Captain to a safe and pleasant harbor of tranquility and peace, The affectionate ways he showed towards the Captain would seem to preclude the idea he would harm her.

We had gotten the situation pretty much under control with the XO, And had actually gotten underway on a possible course out of this dark place at 1/4 impulse power; my long range tac scans, as well as CENG Sam noting the gravitational fluxes of the space dead ahead of the ship. The fluxes eventually led to be stars ahead, almost out of the dark...external communications to Star Base #113; Limited as they may be were established by OPS Doug T.

There straight ahead was the warm and inviting celestial bodies bidding us on. That was so welcome and different from the cold, dark and indifferent void we were rapidly egressing from now. Then it happened..Commander Alces ordered the ship to full stop.

I have complied, I have as well been taking readings from our surroundings as well. If the shifting of this void is continuous as I suspect, Should we remain here;we may be placed in jeopardy once again, possibly with no escape this time. I full well understand the Commanders reluctance to leave this place without the Captain possibly with no way to return on a seek and recover mission. I know all too well the conflicting thoughts he must be having at this time.

I have possibly overstepped my boundaries, I have gently suggested to Commander Alces his duty to this ship and crew as well since he is now in command. The CO were she here would most certainly understand the Needs and good of this fine ship and crews safety have the first priority, over the needs of the one. I know all too well he is aware of this duty, I feel he will do the right thing;though it may lead to the loss of our beloved Captain...The ships company and crew come first, Such is the heavy burden of command.

Computer...End Log: Whirr,Click,...Beep...
