"One-Hundred Twenty Days, Pt. X"

Day One-Hundred Sixteen

"Where's Citrus?"

Kahrak shuffled over the rich carpeting and shrugged. "I told you two nights ago she was missing. But you weren't listening, and you've barely been around..."

"I've been busy."

He looked over his rumpled-looking Orion friend, and sighed. "Yes, it seems, quite."

"We're leaving in fifteen minutes, and you only now take the time to remind me that my beloved pet is gone?"

"I told you two days ago!"

Laarell looked crushed. "I'll tell someone to keep an eye out for her, and he'll send her back to Earth when he finds her."

"Your cute new boyfriend?"

"He's not..." Laarell started to argue. "He owns the place -- he'll find her."

"I hope so. I'm sure Citrus is quite nervous and alone about now. Did you make your goodbyes?"

Laarell sighed. "Yes, but... I'll drop him a comm when I'm home for him not to smash her if he sees her..."

Day One Hundred Twenty-One

Laarell peered at the communique from Starfleet Command, vaguely confused.

Antares Shipyard.

What the hell did they want with her at a shipyard?
